Hello Dears! How are you doing today? Today is Saint Nicholas in Switzerland, and is the day the children receive small presents (candy, and a cute bread man called grittibaenz, but also small toys). I love it that today is my son's first time and that a man dressed in Saint Nicholas will go to the crèche and surprise all the children, I'm so excited! But he's probably too young to enjoy it, I'll enjoy it for him, lol!
Today I'm bringing you the 6th "Battle" of this challenge, which is a Theme Battle "Stripes vs. Dots". For doing this manicure I've been inspired by (continue reading after the jump)
the sweetest ruffian manicure I've seen so far, which was done by Lindsey of Neverland Nail blog, click here to see her mani.

This mani is basically a ruffian with a stripped base and some dots accent in my ring finger, This is my very first "striping" with a thin brush, so the strips don't look regular at all. But I sort of like the final result so is not big deal. Next time will be better.

Here is what I've used:
- Thin striping brush
- Dotting tool
- Essence 133 oh my glitter! : I applied one coat as base over the whole nail. I should have used 2 coats, because it is quite sheer, but I wanted a light result and didn't want to wait for it to dry!
- NYX Ink Nail Art NA06 White: I've used it to  do the white stripes and dots
- Essence 141 icy princess: I apply this with the thin brush to give some shade to my white stripes and to dot.
- L'Oréal Color rich 609 Divine Indigo, used to do the ruffian.

So, What do you think of this manicure? Nice or too much?

Please, don't forget to check what the other participants have done to their nails to represent this battle!
