The tri-polish challenge day 21: Sunrise cocktail nails

Hi my dears! How are you doing? Today is the 3rd Tuesday of August and you know what that means? It's time for a new set of Tri-Polish Challenge!! As you already know this Challenge consists in doing 4 manicures with three mandatory colours and optional addition of black, white, silver, gold and glitter toppers, for the rules and if you'd like to join us, click here. This month the mandatory colours are Green, Yellow and Red. For representing this colours I have chosen the following: Essence Plant the Planet, Chanel Mimosa, China glaze Igniting Love.

My first manicure is inspired by Summer, hot weather, vacations, and some refreshing cocktail! Cheers!

For achieving this manicure I painted 2 coats of Chanel Mimosa over Mavala002 basecoat, then sponged China glaze Igniting Love on the tips. I repeated this step twice. I then applied one coat of Seche vite and placed some lemon shaped slices of fimo decoration with a tiny drop of nail glue on my ring and thumb fingernails. And that was it!

I hope you like this mani, I find it very Summer-y. What is your impression?
Do not forget to pay a visit to the other lovely participants listed below!

Love,
Nati

  7. I don't care much for the applique detail, but for the sake of the nail art I get it :-) But personally I would just wear the gradient, it is so pretty!
