Today I have some Born pretty store Elegant roses water decals to share with you and this mani is really cheering me up. I've already said how I like water decals as an easy nail art and that I also prefer them to stickers because they're so thin they're hardly noticeable. For those reasons I was quite impatient to test these flower decals.
The decals come in a sheet in a form of composition, as opposed to other decals I've tried that are just individually printed in rows and columns, these are much prettier to look at, and it's almost a pity to cut them off! On one hand that gives many different possibilities of decoration, on the other hand you really need to be accurate while cutting the flowers because they're placed really closed to each other. The flowers on the sheet come in different nuances of blue and violet there are also leaves, bubbles and some bows. You can click on the images to enlarge them.
My manicure was very simple, I used basecoat, two coats of Essence Fantastic girl and waited for it to dry COMPLETELY.
I cut out the flowers I wanted to use and put them in a cup with water, when the decals started to peel from the paper by themselves and float, I picked them with tweezers and placed them on the nails, I pressed with a cotton pad for a couple of seconds. Finally I sealed the manicure with one coat of topcoat.
In the back of the package you find some instructions on how to apply the decals, but I change that a bit and it worked perfectly for me. I simply didn't use the blow drier, and the decals stayed perfectly on my nails
