My current everyday makeup routine: November 2013

Hello my lovelies! How is your weekend so far? I hope you're enjoying it.
My everyday makeup routine has changed and a bit since the last time I wrote about it, but for the past month I've been using the same items regularly, so I thought I'd write an update on the items that are currently in my makeup bag. I like to do it to keep track on what I wear and also because I'm quite curious about your feedback.

1.Preparation:
I'm currently not using any makeup primer on a daily basis! I am using a new skin care product from Lancôme called Dreamtone, but I don't think that can count as makeup. It's more a skin treatment.
2. Concealer:
This has not changed, I'm still using NYX Concealer Jar #04 Beige for dark circles, blemishes and imperfections.
3. Foundation:
The past weeks I've been wearing MAC Pro long wear NC20, and I like it very much. It takes a little more blending than other foundations I've used, so it's definitly one to preferably apply with a flat or angled kabuki (or a sponge if you prefer) and buff it quite a bit, instead of applying it with fingers. But once it's on, it's long lasting and it gives a smooth coverage and flawless look I'm very happy with it.
4. Cheeks:
I can't have enough of cream blushes and my current crush is on Chanel Présage, so pretty <3!
5. Powder, highlighter and bronzer:
I'm using NYX stay matte but not flat compact powder in 05 Soft beige. I apply it with a large powder brush in the center of my face and to set the undereye area. I'm not using bronzer, but for special looks I do reach for Chanel Lumières d'atifices beiges which is subtle enough for my Fall-pale complexion. But definitely not on everyday basis, that is why I didn't include it in the pictures.

6. Brows:
I'm still using Amuse Ultra fine eyeliner in dark brown, this has not changed. But I'm itching to try a new "skinny" pencil from NYX!
7. Eyes:
My everyday bag has my favourite Chanel Premier Régard, I pretty much use only one shade for everyday looks. My current mascara is L'Oréal million lashes mascara, in hazel eyes. This is a plum-ish brown coloured mascara and I think it's more flattering than black for daytime looks. Now that my skin looks paler black tends to look too harsh on me.
8. Lips:
On a daily basis I'd go for Astor Liquid care in Nude rose lipgloss, which is crazily mosturizing, not sticky at all and a natural nude for my skin tone. For going out or spicing things up I'll reach for Dior Rouge 999. I loved Natalie Portman's look in the promo of 999, casual jeans, blazer, stilettos and red lips, how can you beat that any given day? Though I don't exactly have her looks...

And this is what I'm wearing today: The base (foundation + concealer), a hint of cream blush, NYX powder, filled in eyebrows, lipgloss, Chanel eyeshadows and mascara. Please, excuse my chapped lips, they look terrible :(

Has your makeup bag contents changed lately? Do you change foundation with the change of season and climate? Is there any recently purchased makeup item you use everyday?
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Love,
Nati

  3. ¡Acabo de descubrir tu blog! Yo me quedé en el anterior y como no se actualizó más, pensé que habías abandonado la "blogosphère".
Así que aprovecho y comento este post aunque mi makeup routine no es demasiado apasionante (como la tuya).
Yo uso YSL Touche éclat 1.5 y Chanel Le Volume noir... y listo. Cuando me veo demasiado pálida, un poco de blush UNE Grand air.
¡Qué divertido hablar de makeup routine! creo que nunca la compartí con nadie =)
