Gwen Stefani for OPI: 4 in the morning

Hello my lovelies, how are you doing? Already off work? I'm not yet, I'm working on my studies until tomorrow at noon, then I'll take a short but much needed and socially busy break.

Today I have another nail polish from the Gwen Stefani collaboration with OPI collection to share with you. This one is called "4 in the morning" and it is a matte black.

Formula is very good, it lays thin and runs smoothly without the minor brush-stroke, being perfectly opaque in two coats. While still wet you can see the micro secret shimmer that prevents the shade from looking rubbery once dried. Drying time is regular, I mean not as fast as I expected, but I used some OPI rapidry to speed up the drying time and worked fantastically.
The shade of 4 in the morning is very nice too, is not the deepest black out there, so I guess its great for creating contrasting French tips with a glossy deep black nail polish.

This is my first matte black nail polish and I'm really happy with it!I can see all the potential it has in nail art!

The Gwen Stefani for OPI collection will be available in Switzerland from 21st January 2014, RRP is 23.90 CHF.

Stay tuned to see more Gwen Stefani for OPI colours!
Love,
Nati

    1. Hi Maria! You're right, it somewhat reminds me to Suzi skis in the pyrenees, but this one is darker.
