Hello my sweeties!
This is the third appointment in the "Winter Garden" challenge organized by the lovely Francine from The Beauty case blog.

I haven't done any nail art. The nail art for this twinsie is optional, the theme proposed by the lovely Francine is Sport, but I didn't have the time this week to come up with a design. I've chosen to show you a beautiful matte polish instead. This is KBShimmer "The grape beyond, which I received as a Christmas gift from my lovely friend Christine of Polished marvels. Can't begin to tell you how much I love this shade. It's a medium purple, quite balanced, not too red or too blue, with gorgeous teal (or is it turquoise?) shimmer, visible only when the sun strikes the nails. Pretty!!!

I painted three thin coats of KBShimmer The grape beyond, just because the second coat dried a little streaky, but the third coat evened all out. I used 2 pumps of OPI RapiDry to speed upt the drying process, which wasn't very fast.I usually notice that matte colours are either instantly drying as you paint on, or taking ages to dry. This was more in the second category, but I guess that was my fault because my application in a rush was not very good and three coats of polish are a bit too much. Live and learn. Anyway the wait was sooo worthy because the shade is unique and I love it! Thank you Christine

What do you think about it? Have you got this colour?
If you still wanted to see nail art, go check all the lovely participants! The prompt for today was Sport, suggested by Francine, I'm sure you'll find many interesting manicures :)

Love,
Nati
