Hello sweeties! It may seem strange for international readers, but until recently many professional nail polish brands were not easy to find or definitely not available in Switzerland. That is why I'm very pleased to share with you Swiss folks, Zoya is now available here!

Zoya is one of my favourite brands, first and foremost because they are cruelty free and Big5Free certified. That means these nail polishes and the ingredients are never tested on animals, do not have any animal derived ingredients and are also completely free of Formaldehyde, Resin Formaldehyde, Toluene, Dibutyl Phatalate (BBP) and Camphor. Some very well-known brands can't say the same.

This is specially important if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or simply if you are concerned about chemicals interfering with your health. I strongly recommend looking for 5BigFree nail polish.

I could hardly believe my eyes when I found out the whole range of Zoya shades and nail care is available online and distributed in Switzerland.  Here you are a sneak peek of the Zoya Spring collections*.

Magical Pixie collection

Cosmo, Vega and Lux

From left to right: Cosmo, a silver crystal, Vega, a blue opal sparkle and Lux, a rose quartz sparkle. All three are textured PixieDust with big hex iridescent particles, aka textured polished with chunky hex glitter, but surprisingly working! We have seen Essie totally missed the hit with Belugaria and China Glaze There's Snow one like you, for those who remember you might be frightened when I say "texture and chuncky glitter combo". Forget all that, these Zoya are truly magical!

Easy to apply, opaque in two coats, they are packed with bling. They dry surprisingly fast for a polish in this category, and I would totally recommend it for nail accents or nail art! Here is an example, I've done half moon manicure using Zoya Odette as a base and  Zoya Cosmo on the half moon.

Awaken collection

Dot, Cole, Hudson, Dillon, Rebel, Brooklyn and Monet

It consists in six wonderful colours and a topper called Monet, this one is my favourite collection of the three. The shades in this collection from left to right: Dot, a full-coverage pink petal cream, Cole a  peach whisper cream, Hudson a purple orchid metallic with a silver shimmer, Dillon a  green mint metallic with a silver shimmer, Rebel an opal blue metallic with a silver shimmer, Brooklyn a full-coverage, white-gold shimmer metallic and Monet A multi-colored, cellophane holographic special effect topper. All of them except Monet are opaque in two coats as I show below (all swatches are two coats without topcoat).

This is my favourite Zoya collection this Spring and I have such a hard time choosing the shade to wear first, and also just swatching them! Once I've painted my nails I do not want to remove the colour, lol. Not very practical for a nail blogger hm?
Here are my first two manis from this collection: I wore Hudson with Dot as an accent in the first picture, and Cole (love, love this peachy-melon shade!) in the second picture.

 Naturel collection

Chantal, Taylor, Rue, Brigitte, Odette and Normani

This collection is a set of neutral, muted "nudes" to suit almost every complexion. They are all great quality cremes, cool toned and oh so chic!

The shades from left to right:
Chantal a delicious full-coverage French vanilla cream, Taylor a light toffee cream, Rue a boudoir blush cream, Brigitte bombshell mauve cream, Odette a sultry orchid maroon cream, Normani a sable mauve cream (that I would call "taupe").
Here are the swatches on same order:

The first two shades I wore from this collection were the mauve and the rose, because I have such a weakness for those colours! First is Odette, two coats without topcoat, and second picture is Brigitte, also two nuttery coats without topcoat.

Overall impression of this collection is the remarkable quality and flawless application, I do not have one single complaint regarding the formula and I really like Zoya brushes a lot.

Zoya nail polish colours recommended retail price is 21.00 CHF, which is in the range of price for professional nail polish in Switzerland, and you can get them now in Zoya official Swiss website.

Have you got any of the Zoya colours I've just shown? Which are your favourites?

Love,
Nati

PS. Stay tuned because very soon I'll do a demonstration of the Zoya Color Lock System and the mythical Zoya REmove+ nail polish remover.
