Happy Friday sweeties!
For the 20th appointment with the 52 Weeks Nail Art Challenge we have a colour prompt which is Red. Here you can enjoy over 40 nail art designs in this classic shade, are you "red-y"? ;-)

I always think there is no reason to collect red nail polish, because "all reds look the same" right? That is something my eyes say to my mind, until I see a gorgeous red manicure, and, honestly nothing can beat a good red nail polish. It is elegant and feminine, no wonder is a classic!

I did not hesitate much before choosing Zoya Hannah for this challenge, because it is a perfect medium red, super flattering. It may not be the most spectacular out there but you have to admit it has its own allure. Today I ought to combine "red" prompt with my personal technique prompt which is "half and half". My manicure is no brainers, and all I did was painting each nail in two different shades of red. The effect is immediate, it never cease to amaze me how such simple things like a bit of contrast han have such a wonderful effect. So here is a perfect example for those who think they'll love to do a nail design but they don't have time/skills/materials, etc.

For this manicure I first painted three thin coats of  Zoya Hannah waited for it to dry, and then applied NYX Dorothy only to one half of each nail. I did not use guides for this mani, and though it is so simple, I really like the outcome!
What do you think of red manicures? Yay or nay? For much more red inspiration check the link-up here below.

Life and Stuff
As I told you earlier this week, this weekend I will be too busy organizing and enjoying my boy's 4th birthday party! I have alread done a few things in advance, as shopping decoration, organizing games for the children, getting the goodie-bags ready, today I'm off to the grocer's and tomorrow will be all about preparing the food and the cake. We are counting on 15 children and 17 adults for lunch! So, yes, I'll be busy :)

What are you up to this weekend? I wish you a fantastic one my lovelies!

Love,
Nati
