Skincare │ Daily Concepts® in my shower!

Hello sweeties!
Today I am very excited because in a few more hours I'll be on a plane with my family heading for a week of fun, good food and, I hope, relax (?). I do take time periodically to relax my body, but it is very difficult for me to put my brain in a chillin' mode. Even when I am supposed to be chillin' my brain doesn't stop, I'm always thinking new ideas, new ways to see old ideas, or if I happen to have a problem I can't stop thinking of ways of sorting things out... My hubby says "you think too much"! May be I do...
For sure I do!
So it seemed super funny to me to discover this brand of shower and body care accessories called "Daily Concepts" whose moto is "Individuals who think (and sing in the shower)". It's such a perfect fit, haha! If you are looking for original solutions for your daily body care, keep reading!

The first thing that called my attention was this item: "Your strech wash cloth" from Daily Concepts. I do use a wash cloth in the shower, an uber simple cotton cloth that is washable in the laundry. But, honestly, I never used any special items for the parts of my body that are difficult to reach a.k.a my back. I'm not getting any younger and my back seems to grow harder and harder to reach (input some LOL's here before I start depressing about my age, LOL)

This stretch wash cloth is very ingenious, it is made of cotton, polyamide and polyester, has a long rectangular shape, and one handle in each end. Once wet it is extremely flexible and its stretching power is something else!
These are the qualities the brand claims:

  • Label with indicator that fades when it’s time to replace Your Body Scrubber.
  • Stretches three times its size to reach hard to reach areas of your body
  • Natural cotton base layer with nylon exfoliating loops for the ideal texture.
  • Clinically, allergy and dermatologist tested
  • NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS. Cruelty free.
  • Made in North America
  • Functional packaging (suction cup included).

The washcloth has a label that fades with the uses, so you would know when to replace it. So, yes, this means it is a disposable item and not something that you can wash in your laundry machine :(
The label of mine, was already faded to the point it was unreadable. I suppose it is a factory mishap and my washcloth is totally NEW because the package was perfectly sealed when I opened it.

The packaging is very practical too and can be mounted with a suction cup as a holding pouch for your wash cloth! I immediately adopted this as it keeps my cloth clean and nicely stored until my next shower!

My experience:

I do like this product, although it is not as gentle as I imagined it would be. For me it is more like a scrubber that has quite a rough texture, even wet with warm water, it will give your skin quite a deep scrubbing moment. I do have a light hand when using it but still can't stand to use it on my whole body. It's rougher than my exfoliating gloves :O !!

I wouldn't recommend it for people with sensitive or delicate skin. I personally prefer to use it for my driest bits, like elbows, heels and ankles. I love the STRETCHING part and the handles, and if they would have a softer version, I would repurchase it with my eyes closed!

I love the idea of the packaging that can be used to store it in the shower! It's a genius idea :)

They also include this Daily Concepts Manifesto:

For any new mum around there who would want to discuss point 2, 3 and 8 you have my total support! haha for a mum is rare to shower alone, interruptions are very common and if you have a very young baby that happens to wake up hungry in the middle of your shower, it surely isn't a stress-free moment! I hear you. But, children will grow and then, taking a shower will be again a lovely moment!!

Daily concept offers several solutions to upgrade your bath and shower experience, you can find the whole range, including the Stretch washcloth www.beautykosm.ch.

Now it's your turn, do you use any shower or bath accessories like brushes, sponges, washcloths? Would this product interest you? Let me know everything in the comments!

Love,
Nati
