Hello Sweeties! How is your long weekend?
I hope you are enjoying with people that matter to you, I certainly am!
Today I have a new nail art design to share with you, for the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge we are doing Pastel to bold gradient with something on top. I think the result is very appropriate for the season!
Keep reading to find out more about this design!

Pastel colours are always on trend during Easter season, as they remind us of candy and decorated eggs. Bold colours are a must in Spring as the weather changes and sunnier days hit us.
Doing a gradient from pastel to a bold colour, is not so easy though!

For this manicure I first painted 2 coats of OPI Suzi wthout a paddle (from Fiji Collection Spring/Summer 2017). Then I tried to sponge a gradient with OPI Hotter than you pink, trying hard to make the neon pink pop over the light blue, and make it look like a seamless gradient. What you see on the pictres is my hardest try!
Once the gradient was acceptable to me, I applied topcoat (which alwys smoothes things out a little more. Finally I stamped on top of the gradient fingernails using  Moyou white knight stamping polish and the Stamping plate BP-109

I quite like the outcome of this designs. I find it very suitable for spring and especially for the Easter week. What do you think about this manicure? Do you like the pastel and bold colour combo?

Have a wonderful weekend and a lovely Easter Sunday (for those who celebrate)
