Hello, my lovelies! how are you today?
It's been almost two weeks since I last published here, I took a break, half of it was wanted and half of it unwanted. As I told you, my hubby, and I took a weekend escapade to Brighton, where we first met 20 years ago, when we came back I intended to do a lot of improvements for our home, but then I caught a nasty flu, and I had a fever that lasted me for 5 days despite the medicines, which absolutely knocked me out. Now, it is my girl who has it, but luckily she seems to have caught a softer kind of virus, thank God.
I ended up skipping last week's Monday Shadow Challenge because the colours didn't inspire me that much. This week, I'm "only" one day late posting my look, not that bad considering the background. Today's look is supposed to be romantic, but not too soft, I was thinking about something that would be suitable for a night out, like Valentine's day. The colours used this week are "purple and fucsia", I hope you like the outcome.

How I did it

I wanted to achieve romantic, but not too soft, I was thinking about something that would be suitable for a night out, like Valentine's day. I thought the BH Cosmetics Cool stone palette would be great for this because the colours in it are chic but vibrant

I used a transition shade from the palette, all over my crease. I defined my crease further with the dark purple shade. I then I applied the shimmery lilac all over my mobile eyelid and darken a little the outer corner of my eyes. On my lower lashline, I applied the fierce fuchsia, and a bit of dark brown. Finally, I applied a black eyeliner and loads of mascara.

On the face, I used a bronzer from Ginvenchy, a blusher by Essence and i skipped the highlighter. On the lips, I used a beautiful fuchsia lipstick from nyx Cosmetics that has a blue sheen to it. I am not sure but I think this lippy is discontinued. Nyx Cosmetics in "Chloe" comes very very close to this one.

 Cela fait presque deux semaines que je n'ai pas publié ici, j'ai fait une pause, à moitié voulue à moitié involontaire. Comme je vous l'ai dit, mon mari et moi avons fait une escapade de weekend à Brighton, là où nous nous sommes rencontrés il y a 20 ans. quand nous sommes revenus, j'avais l'intention de faire beaucoup d'améliorations pour notre maison. J'ai eu une fièvre qui m'a duré 5 jours malgré les médicaments, ce qui m'a complètement détruite. Maintenant, c'est ma fille qui l'a, mais heureusement, elle semble avoir attrapé un virus plus doux, Dieu merci.

 J'ai fini par sauter le Monday Shadow Challenge de la semaine dernière parce que les couleurs ne m'inspiraient pas beaucoup. Cette semaine, par contre, je suis "seulement" un jour en retard pour poster mon look, pas si mal vu le contexte. Le look d'aujourd'hui est censé être romantique, mais pas trop doux, je pensais à quelque chose qui serait approprié pour une soirée comme la Saint-Valentin. Les couleurs utilisées cette semaine sont "violet et fucsia", j'espère que vous aimerez le résultat.



Comment je l'ai fait

Je voulais obtenir un look romantique, mais pas trop soft, je pensais à quelque chose qui serait approprié pour une soirée, comme la Saint-Valentin. J'ai décidé que la palette BH Cosmetics "Cool Stone" serait géniale pour ça car les couleurs sont chic mais vibrantes
Pour commencer, j'ai utilisé une teinte de transition de la palette partout dans mon pli. J'ai défini mon pli un peu plus plus avec la nuance violette foncé. J'ai ensuite appliqué le lilas moiré sur toute ma paupière mobile et j'ai assombrir un peu les coins externe de mes yeux. Sur ma lignes des cils inférieure, j'ai appliqué du fuchsia et un peu de brun foncé. Enfin, j'ai appliqué un eye-liner noir et des tonnes de mascara.
Sur le visage, j'ai utilisé un bronzer de Ginvenchy, un blush d'Essence et j'ai sauté le highlighter. Sur les lèvres, j'ai utilisé un beau rouge à lèvres fuchsia de NYX Cosmetics qui a un éclat bleu magnifique. Je ne suis pas sûre mais il me semble que ce lippy est arrêté. Nyx Cosmetics a aussi un appelé "Chloe"qui est très proche de celui-ci.

I have not done my make up for more than a week, and it felt so GOOD to handle my brushes again! Maybe that's why I really like this look (?) I do not know. I find it pretty, even though it is not very modern. What do you think?

Je ne me maquillais plus depuis plus d'une semaine, et cela m'a fait un bien fou de reprendre mes pinceaux! C'est peut-être pour cela que j'aime beaucoup ce look? Je ne sais pas. Je le trouve joli, malgre qu'il n'est pas très moderne. Qu'en pensez-vous?
