Hello, sweeties!

As February is coming to an end, I thought it would be a good moment to share my "Empties". Tubes, bottles and jars of beauty products I've used up recently, so I can give you my feedback with this series of mini-reviews. This month, I've cumulated an obscene quantity of empty bottles, so this time I'm going to talk only about the skincare and makeup products and I will address the body and hair products in a future post.

Lancôme Tonique Confort. Re-hydrating Comforting Toner for Dry Skin

This huge bottle of toner contains 400ml. Huge! It lasted me for over 6 months. I am so in love with this toner! It is perfect for my dry skin, it's alcohol-free and it contains glycerin, castor oil and honey. After I wash my face with any cleanser my skin feels dry and sometimes uncomfortable, this toner provides immediately the necessary moisture to rebalance my skin after washing. I have tried a lot of different alcohol-free toners and most of them provide a temporary relief, but less than a minute later my skin feels dry again. It's not the case with this toner. I love it and I've already got a second bottle. I got the large one during the sale and I only paid 29.90 for this large bottle, considering it's a high-end product it's a great price. I definitely recommend it if you have dry skin!

Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray. Cooling and Hydrating.

Somewhen around 2015, I tested a sample size of the famous Urban Decay "All nighter" setting spray. It was the first time I used a setting spray and I liked it, except that I found it a bit "drying " for my dry skin. So I thought to try other brands instead, I bought setting sprays from L.A. Girl and NYX Cosmetics, until this "Chill" version came around and as it claimed to be more hydrating than the All nighter, I bought it. Was I happy with it? Well, it definitely isn't as drying as I found the original All nighter, but still keeps my makeup for longer. But I don't ind it to perform differently from other setting sprays I mentioned above, but this is much more expensive. I really find it too expensive for what it is and it's the main reason why I won't repurchase it.

Clarins Instant Eye Make-up remover. Waterproof & heavy makeup.

You know I love double.phase removers for my eye makeup, because I find those to be the most effective and this one is no exception. Besides being very effective, as it gets rid of all kinds of waterproof makeup without e having to rub and struggle, it also respects my skin, which is rather sensitive around my eyes. The product doesn't leave any oily residue, and it is very kind with my sensitive eyes! Despite being a high-end brand, it can be found at great prices when there are sales and offers! I will be definitely repurchasing it!

Premier Biox Intensive Age Defying Serum

This is a wonderful serum with a heavenly scent. I have reviewed this Serum here, so be sure to check my blog post if you want to know all the details, I definitely recommend it. Together with the cream it would be the perfect duo, if the price tag wasn't so high! Le sigh...

Premier Biox Intensive Age Defying Cream

This cream, as well as the above-mentioned serum, were sent to me as press samples. They were the best skincare routine I have had so far. Honestly, read my review here. However, I don't think I will repurchase these very soon because the price is too high for my own budget. I might ask the Biox Set for Christmas, which is a great offer for 4 products! But still, it will be a very expensive gift ;) If you have that kind of budget for skincare, I would totally recommend it!!

Wetnwild Lash Renegade Mascara

The first time I used this mascara, it was a revelation! The tip is very particular, it has a round tip with spikes that remind me of a Givenchy mascara, which can reach even the smallest thinnest lashes in the very corners, but the one from Wetnwild is so very affordable. I thought I had finally the perfect mascara at the most budget friendly price, but after two weeks of use, the mascara was completely dry. WTF!! I first thought I had got a faulty one, but never came around to review it.
Around Christmas, I got a second tube, as a press sample. Again, the mascara worked great, GREAT, one of the best mascaras I've tried in my life! For about two weeks. Then it was completely dry, or completely empty. How likely is that I got a second faulty tube? I don't know if it contains really a small amount of product or if its formulation makes it dry out very soon. I expect a mascara to last at least a couple of months? Well, I would like to get another tube, but I'm not sure. Have you tried this mascara? What is your experience with it?

Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation

I love, love, love this foundation!! This has a ridiculously low price, something like 9 CHF, but it is one of the best foundations I've ever used! The formula is super lightweight, but it is very pigmented, the colour is my perfect match, it lasts flawlessly throughout the whole day. It has a matte finish but it looks great even on my dry skin. I have written a dedicated review about it here. This is my second bottle and I have already bought a couple of backups because Catrice does discontinue their foundations quite frequently and I would hate to run out of this one, as it is my HOLY GRAIL.

Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer

This concealer is amazing, I like to use it together with the foundation as it is so full-coverage! As you know (if you follow me for a while) I have quite dark hyperpigmentation spots due to hormones and I need quite a bit of coverage if I want to unify my complexion. This concealer is great for that purpose! I recommend it if you have a dark spot or mark that you want to hide, you can learn more about it in my review here. It is also very affordable.

There goes another bunch of empties! Let me know if you need more extensive info on any of the products that I shortly present here, please do not hesitate to ask for it in the comments. Also, let me know if you have tried any of the products I have mentioned and if you have a different opinion I would love to know it!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love,
Nati
