Hello, my lovelies!

How has Spring started for you? Do you have any plans for this season? Maybe a trip somewhere? I don't know about you, but mid-March sounds a lot more encouraging to me to make resolutions than January, that ever since I live in the northern hemisphere. Personally, I'm more motivated to get fit now than I was in January, lol. I am only hoping for warmer days, it is still very cold around here! We've already booked a family trip for our Spring break, we'll spend a few days in Barcelona. I'm soooo looking forward to it! My last trip to the beautiful Spanish city was in 2002, I don't even know what to expect or what to do? I'll need some planning for this trip... Don't hesitate to leave me a comment if you have some suggestions!

Now, into makeup! Well, if you've been following me lately, you know I'm showing more love to the makeup I own instead of buying new and I challenged myself to create twelve different looks with the BHCosmetics Zodiac palette, one for each sign. Today I focus on "Aries" sign and here is my look, I hope you like it!

I want to state clearly that I don't really care for horoscope or Zodiac signs in general, and I don't know much about it, I just know that each sign roughly corresponds to a month of the year, and as there are twelve of them I thought it would be nice to make it a challenge to present you one new look each month. Aries sign starts on March 21st through April 20th, that's about all I know ;)

In the gorgeous BH Cosmetics Zodiac palette, the colours that correspond to Aries are matte black with a pslight purple tint and a foil baked shadow in a teal blue. I decided to use both, but I also added other purple colours from the palette to make the look more interesting. I hope you like the makeup I came up with ♥

Teal and Purple look for the Sign of Aries

For this look I used:

Face/ Visage:

Eyes/Yeux:
- Essence Get your glitter on (glitter primer)
BH Cosmetics Zodiac palette
- Essence Super Precise eyeliner longlasting + waterproof

I was very impatient to create this "Aries" look, because I love teal colour eyeshadow. I have done many looks with teal, pairing with pink, light blue, turquoise or brown, so I wanted to do something different. I decided to use the purple shades in the palette and I really like the combo! It was a little bit more difficult to incorporate the matte black to this makeup, because I wanted a luminous colourful look, appropriate for Spring. I didn't want the black to darken my look too much. So I only added it to my outer corner and blended it a lot with he purple.

For this look I used the colours:
Aquarius matte (flesh) and Cancer matte(purple): both blended on the crease and along the lower lashline
Aries shimmer(teal): all over the mobile lid and inner third of my lower lashline
Aries matte (black): in the outer corner and along the outer third of my lower lashline
The highlighter  in the center of the palette: applied in the inner corner of the eyes).

I then added black liquid eyeliner and lots of mascara.
On the face, I used a bronzer from Givenchy, a soft rose blusher by Essence and I skipped the highlighter. On the lips, I used a matte rose lipstick by Wetnwild that is one of my favourites.

I REALLY like how this look turned out! I do have an important thing to say: If you see the "glitter primer" by essence DON'T buy it! It's total crap. These eyeshadows would last 8-10 hours intact on me, but with that primer, it was already looking creased and awful after 1 hour! I already throw it in the bin.
Other than the primer fail, the look came quite cool and luminous, what do you think?
I'm already planning my next look for the sign of Taurus, is there any Taurus out there? my daughter is a Taurus!

If you are curious to see the looks I've created for each sign so far, please check them in the list down below:

I hope you've liked this look and, please, don't hesitate to leave me a comment if you have a question or suggestion!

Love,
Nati
