Hello Sweeties! How was your weekend?

I'm a little late for posting my manicure for the "26 Great nail Art Ideas" Challenge, I intended to post it yesterday as it was for St. Patrick's day, but I was too excited to tell you about my new hair care routine and I didn't want to exaust you with two posts on a Saturday, lol. The theme for this week is "French manicure with a twist" which means simply to create a nail art with the same technique of a French manicure but with a funky touch. I chose to go change the colours and used green and gold for my French manicure! Keep reading to find out more about it!

French manicures are very popular and well-known, they are the ultimate manicure for well-groomed looking hands. But just in case somebody it is not familiar with the concept, a French manicure basically consists in a clear, or semi-clear pink polish all over the nail and a white or off-white tip. A The picture below shows a traditional French manicure.

Among the many many ways of making funky twists to your French manicure, I chose to use totally different colours. I first painted my nails with a soft green shade that I find very Spring-like and stamped my tips from a MoYouLondon Frenchy #02 stamping plate that has ONLY french tip designs! I chose a design with small 4 petals flowers that look almost like 4 leaf clovers, quite a symbol for St. Patricks day. I chose to stamp with gold because I really like how it contrasts with the green and it makes it look a bit chicer.

That was it! I hope you like my new manicure. Please, go pay a visit to my challenge mates to see more funky French manicures !!

Love,
Nati
