Hello, my lovelies! How are you today?
Many bloggers start the year with posts of resolutions or with recaps of best products, I intend to start it with EMPTY BOTTLES!! LOL
It sounds funny, but if you think about it, my "Empties" post series is consistent with my resolution of committing to consuming more responsibly. Use up the products that I bought before buying new ones, and evaluating what I'm using by reviewing it and deciding whether to repurchase or not!
I might also write a post with my blogging "Resolutions"in a few days, so stay tuned if that kind of posts interests you!  ;)

EOS Berry Blossom Body Lotion

I don't even remember when I got this body lotion, I remember that it was on sale and I thought "why not?". I used up this bottle in October when it wasn't very cold and my skin wasn't as dry as it is now in winter. The lotion is enriched with shea butter, vitamin E and avocado oil and claims to be fast absorbing and provide a 24 hour moisture. It is paraben-free, petrolatum-free and mineral oil free.
In my experience, the lotion is lightweight and absorbs quickly indeed, but it is still quite emollient. This lotion smells DIVINE!! Yes, it smells heavenly, fruity, but sweet, it is a bliss! I don't even know how to describe it. With the scent alone, I was sold. I have mostly dry skin and I must say the hydration of this lotion it is very good when I apply , but it wouldn't last 24 hours for me. In winter I need a much richer moisturizer, but I will definitely be getting more of this when the spring comes back!

Erboristica di Athena Moisturizing Body Cream with Argan Oil

This cream moisturizes the skin leaving it feeling soft. It does not contain silicones, parabens, dyes, preservatives or petrol derivatives. It is also cruelty-free and produced within a program with low CO2 emissions. It contains jojoba seed, shea butter and argan oil.
It has a sweet and soft scent that I ADORE. The smell of this, characteristic of argan oil, but with a powdery touch, so lovely! The cream is quite lightweight, but a bit less liquid than a lotion. It is a bit oily when applied, but it sinks in very quickly without leaving oily residues. I find my skin well nourished, but for the colder months and my super-extra-dry skin, this is still not enough moisture. I will definitely love to get it again when the warmer days come back!

Korres Japanese Rose Shower Gel

Another product formulated without mineral oils, paraffin wax, silicones, parabens, PEG, synthetic dye, phthalates or animal-derived ingredients. It is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.
This is a very creamy shower gel, that cleanses the skin gently and does not leave a dry feeling to my skin after the shower. It also smells of a divinely sweet flowery scent that I cannot quite define. It is definitely not roses. I have no idea of how Japanese Roses are supposed to smell like, but if they smell like this shower gel, then they smell marvelous!
I was very happy with this product, I had already tested another of their shower gels, and I have just ordered two more!!

Barex Italiana Shampoo Volume Lux and VoluemeLux conditioner. Body and bounce for fine limp hair.

I got these products long ago in one of my trips to Italy. I had no idea of the brand, or the products, so it was kind of an experiment for me.
These shampoos are formulated with organic cotton and linden which are supposed to fluff up your fine limp hair.
In my experience, the shampoo cleanses very nicely but gently, It does lather up quite a bit, which I don't mind, but it doesn't dry my scalp, which is good. It is quite liquidy, which makes it easy to spread the product and  I only need a small amount to wash my hair. The conditioner is quite thick and creamy, it detangles my hair easily and rinses off without leaving residues that I can feel to the touch. My hair feels very soft and although the volume is not huge it does give more fullness to my hair, but my hair doesn't look very shiny with these shampoos, which bothers me. It is not a bad product, but not exactly what I look for in a shampoo. It is not that special in my opinion.

Klorane Dry shampoo with oat milk. Gentle, frequent use. Cleanses hair without water.

I am not a huge user of dry shampoo. This is my second tube EVER. I have already featured this product on May 2016, when I finished my FIRST bottle ever. So It took me 18 months to go through a second bottle. You get the idea. I repeat what I said about it in my last review "I only use it for "desperate situations". My hair is almost never in such a situation". I admit it can save me when I have no time or I can't wash my hair immediately to help me look presentable, but I am not a fan. I still prefer to wash my hair. But it is definitely handy to have one bottle of these at home "just in case of desperate situation", so I have repurchased it.

I hope these mini-reviews have been somehow useful for you. I am happy that I am sticking to my resolution of reviewing the products I use up this year as well.
Do not hesitate to leave me a comment or a question if you need more information or if you have suggestions for me!
