Hello, my lovelies! How are you today!
The months are starting to pass really quickly, I can't believe is already time for an "Empties" post again!
I have a huge amount of empty products this time, so I was hesitating about doing a video! Many of you opted for an Empties video on Instagram Stories to my question, so next month I'll be doig a video instead of a blogpost ;) I still have to fine tune the filming part (read: I need a camera other than my phone!! LOL) but those are just "details" aren't they?
It was impossible to fit all my empty products, which keep cumulating in one post, so I divided them into categories, and this month I'm sharing with you the skincare products that I've used up!
Let's take a closer look at my mini reviews :)

My "Empties" post series is consistent with my resolution of committing to consuming more responsibly. Use up the products that I bought before buying new ones, as well as evaluating what I'm using by reviewing it and deciding whether to repurchase or not. By the way, helping you decide on your own purchase.

Estée Lauder Perfectly Clean Triple Action Cleanser/Toner/MakeupRemover

This is my latest cleansing discovery! I was a bit hesitant when I picked it up, but it sounded very convenient, multipurpose product, so I gave it a go. It is a GREAT product!
This cleanser is bi-phase, it means it has some liquid and some oil in it, so you need to shake it prior to use. Then the pump dispense it in the form of a foam! The foam is applied directly on the face without water. I just massage the product gently on my skin to remove makeup and impurities, then I rinse with lukewarm water and that's all!
It completely removes makeup without fuss, without leaving traces, and it also acts are toner! This is a product I love for travelling, in fact, I took it with me to my trip to Argentina, and it was the most useful and practical! It doesn't leak, it is not messy to use and it covers three steps in one.
The only downside is that it leaves my face skin a tad dry, but this is because my skin is already naturally dry. I am certainly going to repurchase it, and it will be my go-to cleanser for travelling!

Clarins Toning Lotion with Camomille. Alcohol-free

I know many people do not bother with toners, but for me is a step my skin requires before applying my serums and creams. In my night skin care routine I apply a toner with acid, for a chemical exfoliation. But In the morning I don't use exfoliants or acids, only gentle products. This toner is a touch of gentleness after morning mild cleansing, it does not irritate my skin on the contrary it soothes my skin, especially in this period when allergies are causing redness on my face. It is even a little hydrating, ideal for my dry skin. All the mild toning lotions from Clarins are great in my opinion, my favourites being this one and the one with Aloe. If you like alcohol-free toners, I recommend you to try one of this brand.

Clarins Instant Eye makeup remover. Waterproof & heavy makeup

I have purchased and repurchased this makeup remover countless times!! I love double phase removers for my eye makeu, because I find those to be the most effective and this one is no exception. Besides being very effective, as it gets rid of all kinds of waterproof makeup without e having to rub and struggle, it also respects my skin, which is rather sensitive around my eyes. The product doesn't leave any oily residue, and it is very kind with my sensitive eyes! Despite being a high-end brand, it can be found at great prices when there are sales and offers. It is definitely a staple for me.

Juvena Skin Energy Moisture Eye cream

I have featured this eye cream in the blog before because it really deserves it!  This cream, which claims "only" to be an "All-round eye cream to combat signs of fatigue and early lines and wrinkles" is actually very good. It changed the condition of my eyelids from extremely dry to normal in a few days of use. It is moisturizing and it pairs well with makeup. It is quite scented, but it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It is a great choice for ladies 35+ !! I will definitely repurchase this in the future.

Tia'm My Signature C Source 20%

I have already reviewed this product before (here) and this is my second tube. This 30ml tube lasted me for about six months. This is a Serum with a high concentration of Vitamine C, which is actually an acid. It helps your skin be brighter, diminishes dark spots, makes the skin smoother and more moisturized. It works divinely on my skin! I wouldn't use this serum all year round though, because it is not recommended to be used and expose the skin to sunlight then. So definitely not to be used in summer. Also, it is not adviceble to combine with other acids (AHA, BHA). I will definitely buy it again next fall!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum complexion correcting

I have written an in-depth review of this serum years ago (read it here). I have finished this bottle a few weeks ago and although it has contributed a lot to make my skin look more hydrated and more radiant, it wasn't as effective as I hope with my hyperpigmentation. It is a nice hydrating serum, it definitely helped the skin to be more radiant and healthy, but it is not a miracle for hyperpigmentation spots. If you don't have very bad discolourations like me, I would say go for it.

Lancôme Energie de Vie skin. The liquid care

This is my favourite skincare item for the summertime or very hot weather. I purchased this for my trip to Argentina in January, but then it was not the most appropriate for my skin needs in the cold months of February in Switzerland. So I just finished this a few days ago.
What does this serum do? Basically, it does it all! Well, it boosts the skin, hydrates, improves skin radiance, it is really good! I think this is an excellent skin care choice for VACATION mode. In fact, this is serum AND Moisturizer all-in-one, but with a very lightweight and refreshing texture, so it doesn't feel like anything at all those days of humid intense heat.
I will continue to purchase this for the warmer months as long as Lancôme has it available!!
Babaria Aloe Contorno de ojos (Eye contour cream)

This eye cream was a great discovery while shopping during my last trip to Spain. If I'm not mistaken, Babaria is a Spanish brand which uses mostly natural ingredients at a very reasonable price. I always hunt for local brands when I'm travelling because I'm curious and you never know what you can find!
Well, this eye cream is a little gem! It moisturizes, soothes and smoothes the eye contour area, it is scented but it doesn't irritate my skin or bothers me in any way. I love to use it a.m. and p.m. because it is not greasy and it looks great under makeup, it prepares the skin flawlessly and prevents the creases of longlasting makeup that can be quite drying on mature skin!
I will definitely be repurchasing this eye cream, I've already spotted it on Amazon.
