I love Sunday family lunches and brunches, it is quite a bit of work and preparation, but I enjoy it so much! I am now at the 36th week of pregnancy and getting dressed (properly) becomes more difficult, but I quite managed to go through the whole pregnancy buying only two or three basics. Want to see?
For this simple look I paired a flower printed loose blouse (which I got last spring and it is not a maternity one) to a slim fit raw blue jeans I recently got from La Redoute with a big discount. I thought to wear this outfit with my bright fuchsia open-toed flats. These flats are my favourite, I got them in Argentina years ago and they still look so good to cheer up an outfit! I am not wearing any jewelry -except my Movado watch- because I think there is already enough going on with my blouse.
Simple, comfortable and pretty, what do you think of the outfit?
Tomorrow we'll be hosting the Easter family lunch, it is really not big deal, very informal and we'll enjoy dishes we don't usually eat. I have already prepared my "traditional" Easter cake, which is nothing special really but everybody loves it and it doesn't feel like Easter without it, hihi. I have been making it every year for the past ten years! I know here in Switzerland the tradition is mostly a brunch, but We stick to the Italian and Argentinian traditions during holidays ;)
Do you celebrate this holiday? If yes, what are you doing for Easter Sunday? Brunch? Lunch? Picnic? Outdoor barbecue? Nothing food-related? with family? or friends?
I am very curious to know!!
Have a wonderful holiday,
Nati

You look lovely! Effortlessly chic. We're not doing anything special today. We don't have family here, so.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know how it goes!
DeleteI call it "family" but it's only ma father in law, and the god parents of my boy and the godparentes-to-be of the baby-to-be-born ;) So, yes, I guess "Family" is who you choose really !
Happy Easter sweetie :D <3 We did a traditional Easter lunch indoors, it's snowing in Croatia :O :D
ReplyDeleteYou look so adorable and so fresh :D <3
Thank you Mila! You know it snowed a bit here too, like for 15 minutes, and then the sun came up, and we've been enjoying sunny weather since then!
DeleteHey Nati, you are GLOWING! Happy Easter! Today it's just the two of us, but tomorrow we're doing lunch with my Belgian brother. My Belgian parents are in the US now, otherwise there would have been a lunch today!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sunny, you're sweet!
DeleteI am sure you spent a great time the two of you!
The outfit is lovely and you look beautiful :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tanjy! that's so sweet to say :-)
Sei splendida.
