Polished Polyglot

Hi dear readers! Happy Halloween!

Is no longer a secret I'm a witch! LOL So, I've tried to draw a boiling cauldron nail accent, and I think it came out kind of cool (considering my lack of experience ;) 

Hello my dears! How are you doing today? All ready and set for Halloween??
Here in Switzerland there is not a strong tradition for Halloween, it is mainly for kids. I enjoy very much seeing the enthusiasm of fellow US bloggers about this special day, and it really sounds like fun! So I though I'd do another a Halloween related mani just for the fun.

 I went for a Halloween accent nail I draw some tree branches and stamped a cute owl. Here is what I've used:

I liked it but I think I'll do something more fun for tomorrow.

Hello Dears! How was your weekend?
We had a little snowing here on Saturday, how crazy is that? Is not even November yet! Anyway, I thought I'd better take profit of this Autumn season because I have the impression winter will be arriving very soon. 

The Essence polish I'm wearing today looks very "Fallish" to me. It is called "116 Gorgeous bling bling" and it was marked as new in the display of Colour & go, together with other 3 shades of which I've picked 2. I've payed 2,75 CHF (around 3USD) each.
Is a brick-y burnt orange with small golden flakies and orange shimmer. This polish is most beautiful in the sun, but that's exactly what we're missing.
What do you think about it? Do you like burnt oranges for Fall?

Hi everyone! So glad it is almost the weekend wiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Any interesting plans for the weekend? We're going to our godson's 8th birthday party and I'm still hesitating what to get him. He has too much of everything and does not appreciate gifts more than, what is it? 10 minutes? It is kind of frustrating really. Last year we took him for a day visit to the Transport Museum in Lucerne, and he loved it! It was pretty amazing. But this year we cannot spend all day out with our baby, and we're really having a cut down in presents budget. I guess I'll sort it out, eventually. Would you have any ideas?
Today I wanted to share with you my mani using Art de Lautrec n° 34 because this is one of my favourites purples. It has some subtle shimmer on it, making it more interesting.

Hello my dears! How is your week going? 

A lot of wonderful things are happening this week, small things, but that just make me happy. My baby's first tooth has come through yesterday, it is so cute! And we also finally found a crèche for our baby of which I'm actually happy. Many things I've been worried about come to a solution, so it is quite a relief.

This evening my lovely husband is taking me to the theatre. We are going to see a Bertold Brecht 's play named "L'Irrésistible ascension d'Arturo Ui", it is a gangster's story with a 30's mise en scène. I love going to the Theatre, I know is not big deal, but since our baby was born we haven't been going out much. It's always very difficult and very expensive to find a babysitter in my town. This evening we'll only be away for a couple of hours, and my father-in-law will babysit. So-very-looking-forward to it!!!

I decided to wear this mani, OPI Live and Let die form Skyfall collection. I'm really loving my mini set! This time I haven't had any issues with the mini brush as it was with one polish of The Germany Collection. I used two coats without topcoat, since my seche vite has surrender its soul, and I'm waiting for backup I've recently ordered on internet. I have a OPI topcoat, but it takes ages to dry, and I had to type this post :) so... I went without topcoat. The pictures are not great, the sun has decided not to show up at all today, so it is what it is...

This is a gorgeous colour in my opinion, and I know my husband prefers my dark manicures to other shades, so my choice was made also to please him a little.

I haven't posted anything about the Breast Cancer Awareness month yet. Today, I feel I have something important to say about it.
My dear reader, it is very important, for your family, for your children, for your beloved ones, friends, pets, but firstly for YOU: that you take your butt to the doctor's and have your mammogram periodically!!!!!!!!!!! At least once per year.
In many countries there are local campaigns with the possibility of doing check ups for free, SPECIALLY in October. Remember that early detection is the most important factor to treat Breast Cancer successfully.
I know you know. I know too. But sometimes, with the rush of daily life we forget we know. 

So there was the important thing I wanted to say, that you already knew, but I was just reminding you ;)
