What a week that was! We are SO ready for the weekend! What about you? The sky promises to be clear blue for a few more days (rare thing around here) so the colour blue seems the most appropriate for my manicure today!
The"When Colors Collide" nail art challenge is doing "blue" nails this week and the "NAil Art Stamping sisterhood" prompted us to used the "smoosh" technique. So I combined the two prompts and got a manicure in different shades of blue, I really hope you like it!

We are having such beautiful sunny weather! But during the Spring the weather is very unstable here in Switzerland. Rain can happen any minute, mornings are cold and the temperatures rise fast during the day. The best way to brave all those weather changes is having some versatile clothing in your wardrobe and layering them!!

When you have a long day ahead, the Trench Coat is a great ally! It is formal enough for a smart working outfit, but also suitable for a date, or a more casual look, even with jeans. It is one of those clothing staples so versatile during Spring. Today I share with you how I style my Trench coat for a date night after work. I hope you like it!

What a beautiful sunny day we are having today! We've been out and about with the children enjoying the sun I hope you are enjoying it too.
The first week of Spring is usually as disappointing as very much attended. But this year, it seems the nice sunny weather is right on time with the season changing! Today I went out and had a walk without a jacket!! It was sooooo nice.

What a better way to celebrate Spring for a makeup addict than with a luminous pink makeup look? Today I use the fabulous  BH Cosmetics Zodiac LOVE SIGNS palette using the colours for Aries sign. Last year I have used the first edition of the Zodiac palette all the year round creating different looks inspired in each Zodiac sign, and this year I count on doing the same thing with the second edition of this Palette!

I took an involuntary break from blogging last week, as you could see I haven't posted since last Monday, except for a contribution article about skincare trends. I have been feeling terribly tired, I also caught some kind of flu, mixed with my spring allergies, but above all is this persistent fatigue that drains all my energy! What can I do? My hubby says I should call the doctor for a check up...

Today, finally, I have a new makeup look to show you. This week, the colours for the Monday Shadow Challenge are "Lapiz Blue" and "Coral", what a fine combo!! Fake tan craze

Everyone looks better with a tan going on. End of the discussion. Not only does a slight tan give you a healthier appearance, but it can also visually make you look slimmer and glowing from within. Unfortunately, a natural sun-kissed tan does not last all year long, and it is gone in a matter of weeks after the holidays have passed. Nevertheless, the newest obsession every single beauty enthusiast cannot live without is a quality fake tan. So, instead of exposing yourself to the harmful UV rays of the sun, opt for a tanner with the most natural ingredients. Stay safe and glow all year round!

The bottom line is, trends come and go, so it is left entirely up to you which one you like the best. Most importantly, do not forget to keep your head high this spring and slay the skincare game.

How has been your weekend so far? It's Carnival here in Biel, so yesterday we went to the children's parade. My children wanted to get dressed as Tangled and Batman respectively, which they did, but it was sooooo cold, windy and rainy, we ended covering them with jackets, beanies and scarves so that their costumes were barely visible, LOL. We froze our damp butts out watching the parade and rushed home as soon as it finished because the rain got more and more intense and we didn't have an umbrella!! Yes, I know, for a South American, a carnival with this weather is not precisely something to write home about! But we had fun, in a certain way, and drinking a hot chocolate when we got home never seemed more rewarding. What about your weekend?

Finally, I came around to put together another outfit post for you. It's been a challenge for sure! We actually don't have time to set aside for doing proper "photo shootings"(we, meaning hubby "photographer" and me). But, somehow my fresh optimism thought we could just slip a couple of snaps into our normal life. You know, it is actually much harder than I would have imagined!

We will give it a try in a few days and see if we can manage to bring all our stuff with us. Yes, last time, we went out to take pics, only to find the camera memory card was missing and the battery was dying, LOL. Yeah, we need some fine tuning in the "planning section", haha.

Today I have a weekend casual comfy outfit, perfect for the strange transition weather we are having now. The winter is about to end, it's sunny, but still chilly at times for spring outfits. I hope you'll like it :)

How has your weekend been so far? We are having a little rain and dull clouds today, that will probably stick around for a few more days. So I thought the idea of using a vibrant colour like "Chartreuse" would be ideal to brighten up our days!

We had the most incredible month of February, so many cool things happened, and the sun was bright, the sky clear blue, most days, it definitely felt like spring is coming! I hope March will also be awesome and I hope yours will be too!

Now that February is gon is time for a new edition of my "shopping my stash" challenge! This monthly challenge that I started back in 2017 still goes strong! So, all my "low buy", "no buy" and "shop your stash" beauty friends, you are of course invited to share your own experience! During the past month I've been using an old quad by Chanel "Variation", which is now discontinued, but the truth is I have barely used it until now, so it looks as good as new.
