It's time for a recap!!
May was a pretty full month, my parents were here, we celebrated my baby's 2nd bday, we took a little weekend gateway and we did so many fun and enjoyable things! Here is a recap of my activity in Instagram and this blog, just in case you missed something.

Hello, sweeties! How are you?
I can't begin to tell you how hard was getting back to the regular routine this morning after 4 wonderful long-weekend days spent in Italy. As I write my girl is yelling (instead of napping) because I am actually doing something else than being with her, great... so easy to explain to a two-year-old that mommy would like to write a blog post and why that's "important" right? Well, it is not, of course, or is it?
I came back home from this short vacation with a broken toe. It happened on Saturday morning and I know it's actually broken (even if I haven't been yet able to get myself to the hospital for a check), I know so because my foot is swollen, my toe and the surrounding area is blue slightly turning to black, and I would rather crush my face on the floor than walking -as it is so painful. But I've been trying hard to smile and go on with the vacation as planned. Family life doesn't seem to allow me any moment to take care of my injured foot until tomorrow.
Anyways, I had prepared a makeup look for today long ago and I wanted to share it with you, just because I really need a lift up and blogging about makeup does it for me. This time the challenge is to combine Pastel yellow and lilac for the Monday Shadow Challenge. I hope you like it!

Happy Friday, everyone! Yesterday was a bank holiday in Switzerland so we took today off to have a very long weekend! We are currently enjoying ourselves in a short trip to the North of Italy and if you'd like to see what we are up to, be sure to follow us in my Instagram Stories!
Today for the 26GNAI Challenge we ought to combine "lilac, pink and gold", a very interesting a lovely combo! I chose to create a floral design, but of course a lazy laid back one.

Today it is kind of a sad day, because of the terrible news of last night's tragic attack to Manchester Arena. I feel sad and confused whether I should go on with my regular posting schedule because I really don't feel like it. I suppose that life goes on, right? Even though I can't stop questioning myself "what kind of life is this?". Anyway, I'm trying to distract my mind from the tragedy (if that was possible) I am going to write what I was planning to write today, but with much less enthusiasm than usual. Please, bare with me.

I am very excited about this weekend, oh, I know the weather will be bleh! but we will be celebrating our daughter's second birthday with our closest friends. I haven't had the opportunity to catch up with my bestie in MONTHS! Yes, I know... life is so hectic. She's got a full schedule, a demanding job, 3 kids, I also have a pretty full schedule (but mostly just jynx), it seems we only meet at b-day parties, so I'm throwing one just for the purpose of spending time with her! As every Monday for the past year, today I have a makeup look to share with you! The Monday Shadow Challenge proposed us to combine Lime green & Purple, a crazy and unusual combo, I must admit. I could only imagine creating a crazy look with some 80's vibe. I hope you like it!

The past couple of years the fashionable statement necklaces have been in vogue. I LOVE statement necklaces, although as a mom with young children they are not the most practical thing to wear (but, nothing else is, really) so I'm always thinking about "convenience" when buying my jewelry. Well, I should say I was thinking practically until now. I have reached a point where I said "screw useful and convenient" and get whatever you fancy! Hello, lovelies! Happy International Labor day!
Today is a non-working holiday in many countries, but the Monday Shadow Challenge doesn't take the day off! This weekly makeup challenge is taking a new turn, from now on, instead of focusing on one color for creating our makeups, we will be using a set of two colors we ought to include in our looks. The challenge becomes more interesting and difficult from now on!
For the first duo of colors, Séverine has chosen "Black and white". Let's see what I came up with!
