Hello, sweeties! It's been ages since I shared with you the products I've used up. I've cumulated a HUGE amount of empty bottles, but I have decided to leave out all the products that have already been featured in past editions of "the empties" posts and I split the rest into two groups. This time I'm going to talk about the skincare and makeup products and I will address the body and hair products in a future post.
So let's get to it!

Lancôme Tonique Douceur. Softening Hydrating Toner Alcohol-free

I've loved using this toner. It is great for delicate skin as it doesn't contain alcohol and it is a bit hydrating. I use it as the last step of my cleansing routine, AM and PM, and my skin really liked it. It doesn't dry out my skin at all, it even feels a little moisturized after using it. I have gone through two bottles of this in the past six months. At one point my skin was terribly dehydrated (because of winter weather) and I decided to switch to another (yet more moisturizing) toner after trying a sample size. The only downside of this toner is its price tag, but other than that I totally recommend it and will repurchase myself once I've finished what I'm using currently.

Estée Lauder Idealist. Even Skintone Illuminator

I've got this serum after trying a 5ml sample, because of its promise of making more even and illuminating the skintone. It felt like a great purchase at the beginning, helas, the full size product did not perform as the sample size one. I was terribly disappointed and used it up only because it is a quite expensive product. It is marketed as a serum, but in my opinion it would qualify more as a primer. It does illuminate the skin AS A PRIMER WOULD DO, and does not perform any permanent result on the skin. I get the same result (if not better) with a MAC illuminating primer that costs half the price of this one. So I would definitely NOT recommend it or repurchase it!

Lancôme Miracle Air de Teint Foundation. Perfecting Fluid Matte Glow creator.

I love this foundation and I have raved in long and large about it here. However, it is not my favorite during winter. The lightest shade of the range is too dark for me in winter. I stopped using this for a while because of that, but I've recently got back to it and now I'm thinking to repurchase it for the warm season. I would definitely recommend it (unless you have very oily skin).

Vichy Slow Age Moisturizer

I'm on my second bottle of this stuff and I LOVE it. I have explained why this is so good for my skin in my in-depth review, check it here! (NOTE: the packaging you see on the picture was the sample sent for Press purpose, not the packagign this moisturizer actually has).

The Body Shop Drops of youth  Eye concentrate. Firming concentrate for smoother looking eye contour

Everytime I get a new eyecream or eyecontour skincare product, I am terribly skeptical. But I must say this is among the best most sensitive eyes friendly I have tried so far. It does the job. It depuff and smoothes the area around the eyes and it doesn't irritate or affect my eyes in any way. I love the way my eye contour has improved and I will definitely repurchase it!

L.A. Girl PRO setting HD high-definition setting spray long lasting matte finish

Three reasons why I really like this setting spray and I have already repurchase it: it is super affordable, it performs better than the NYX setting spray (which is as affordable as this one) and its small bottle is ideal for travelling with it!

Milani Eyeshadow primer

This is hands down one of the best eyeshadow primers I have tried so far. I like it better than Urban Decay primer potion and it only costs one third of the price of the latter. The product makes every shadow last longer and hold better to the skin. This little tube costed me 6 USD (over a year ago) and lasted me for ages! I will for sure repurchase this.

Essence Forbidden Volume Mascara

I haven't been a good blogger talking about this because this Mascara is already discontinued! I have loved it so much that I have stocked up a few of them in my drawer. It simply does a great job making my poor little lashes look fuller and longer, and it only costed me 3.95 CHF!

Maybelline Fit me Concealer

I have purchased this one a few times because I find that it performs fairly similarly to my beloved NYX HD concealer. The shade 20 is a bit too dark for me and the lighter one looks too pink on me.
It has medium coverage and it illuminates the skin! I have already repurchase it and I recommend that you do the sane.

Vichy DermaBlend Stick correcteur

This is a full coverage corrector that does not look very skin-like (at least on me) as it looks quite "heavy". I got it last year, to conceal my darkest spots of hyperpigmentation (left by my last pregnancy). But I wasn't super happy with the results, evidently I will not repurchase it.
