Hello, my lovelies! Happy Monday!
How was your weekend? We had a wonderful weekend. My hubby and I thought to gather our dearest friends to celebrate our 15 wedding anniversary and the evening was simply charming! Spending time with my favourite people fills my heart with joy.
Today, the Monday Shadow Challenge prompted us to created a look with "Grey" and "Fuchsia" and I used a very bright lipstick. I hope you like it!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. For us it was a lovely sunny weekend, I spent it indoors feeling under the weather :P I caught something that got my tummy upset. As you can see on my pictures that's my very-tired-self. I'm already feeling better, but guess what... it's already MOnday! LOL

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and that started your week in great shape! We had time set to daylight saving on Sunday, which is always a tad disturbing for the family routine, but we are catching up like champions ;)
I couldn't be more excited that Easter is almost here, which means school break, of course, but mainly is the best excuse ever to indulge in excessive amounts of chocolate! I love dark chocolate, which is your favourite? Dark, milk chocolate or white? or maybe some other type of candy?
Well, enough about that, let's get into makeup! As every Monday I have a new makeup to share with you for the Monday Shadow Challenge. This time the colours are "khaki and carmine red" and this is what I came up with... I hope you like it!

How was your weekend? It was Carnival celebration in my city (Biel) this weekend and we wanted to go watch the Children's Parade on Saturday. But it poured the whole afternoon and it was so freaking cold, that we decided to stay in. I was a bit of disappointed to miss the Carnival, I hoped to have fun with the children, but in the end, I thought it was wiser to stay in. We've been ill for nearly two months in a row, with different viruses and stuff, and now that the children are finally fit again, I didn't want to risk their health by standing two hours under the freezing rain. Instead, we spent the afternoon building a Harry Potter LEGO that was way too difficult for my children's age, so they needed extra help ;) . My boy is starting to get hooked on Harry Potter's stories, although they are quite a complex reading for his age (he'll turn 6 on Wednesday) he seems to enjoy it a lot, especially the suspense parts!
Well, I got carried away with my family stories, let's get into makeup! Today, as every Monday, I have a new makeup look to show you for the Monday Shadow Challenge! This week, I've created an edgy makeup in "petrol blue and brass", a combo I would have never thought to put together! I hope you like it :) .

Children have a one week break from school this week, so this morning we are taking it easy, having breakfast without stress in our PJs. It feels like an extension of Sunday! I'd love every Monday to be like this! We are planning some really fun things with the children this week, but not many outdoors activities as the weather announces very very cold and both my children are still coughing. Even the hubby took one day off this week and he'll spend it with our boy doing "boy's stuff".

I ended up publishing my review on OPI Iceland collection on Wednesday, instead of Tuesday and this makeup post comes unusually on Friday instead. We had an absolutely wonderful weekend, I ended up super tired, and today was very hard to get up, but we enjoyed so much! I didn't have enough time to prepare today's makeup look for the Monday Shadow Challenge the prompt this week was to combine "Pastel green and Plum"." I did my makeup in a rush Sunday afternoon, right before leaving with the kids for a last ride at the Biel's Braderie (check my Instagram to see that!), so it is what it is, LOL.

It smells like spring already! I know it's still a bit chilly but around here we have had a few sunny days on a row and that felt so good. Today, as every Monday, I have a makeup look to share with you. This time it is a very colourful and bold one that I find especially appropriate to transition from winter to spring. Using Pine Green, the Monday Shadow Challenge says farewell to the coldest season!

There is no doubt, for the past few years there is a hot-hot-hot trend on "Rose Gold Everything". I must admit that I have never worn a rose gold makeup look, but when I saw this prompt for the Monday Shadow Challenge I thought how come I never came up with this idea?

Can you believe November is almost over? Where did this year go?! It seemed like yesterday I was writing about my new years (lack of) resolutions for 2016, and nowI'm already getting ready for 2017!!
Well, enough of small talk, let's get into makeup. Today my makeup is totally "off topic", why? because I failed to use the right colour for the challenge 😞. In fact the prompt for this week was "Vert de gris" which I had no idea what colour was supposed to be. I was going to skip this appointment, but at the last minute I decided to prepare a look anyway. I used Goolge Translate (WHY?!) who told me vert de gris was "green grey". I still had no idea what colour that was, but lacking the time for a proper research I just grabbed some grey and duochrome green and slapped it on my face!

I'm very excited today because it's my hubby's b-day, (happy birthday darling! I know you're reading ♥). We won't be losing any time waiting for the next weekend and we'll go to dinner out with the family to a restaurant I've never been to. THAT is a very exciting plan in my life! Dinner out on a Monday? with the kids? who have school on the next day? R-e-v-o-l-u-t-i-o-n! haha, LOL.

My children have played the whole weekend with the halloween masks and costumes, they've already had major fun, so this evening we will go out for candy. There is not much people celebrating Halloween in Switzerland, so I keep fingers crossed they won't be disappointed and we can find at least one or two houses that will actually answer the doorbell.

How was your weekend? Here the Autumn school break has started, so my "big" boy is at home for a few days (three weeks!) Honestly? I still don't get the Swiss school system, they just had 5 weeks of school and now three weeks off. what is it like in your country?
