Nail Art for Holidays: New Years eve look!
Dec 31, 2012
Hi Darlings! All set for partying the night (and the year) away??!!
I'm very excited about this evening, because I get to wear a new summer dress (all simple but cute little black dress). I know that might sound very frivolous, but if you follow me since the beginning you might have red that when I became a mum, I gained weight and stayed away from the beauty world. When I became pregnant I stopped doing my nails and buying nail polish, dressing up femininely, wearing accessories were put aside. I don't know why!! I just did. I only re-started painting my nails when my baby was 6 months old. It's been very long since I last wore a pretty dress, so it's quite an event. I've worn one for my son's baptism in May, but I lost 5kg since then and I feel better with myself (still have some more kg to loose, but that starts tomorrow with the good 2013 resolutions, lol!)
The Battle Challenge: #9 Duochrome vs. Foil
Dec 27, 2012
Hi my lovelies! How were you celebrating lately?
Today is a very special date because it's my wedding anniversary. My husband and I have been married for 9 years! Is that a whole lifetime or what??!! So we will keep celebrating :D
In this post I'm bringing you the 9th Battle of this Challenge (is that Coincidence with the number 9? lol) Which is a battle of finish: Duochrome vs. Foil.
Merry Christmas!
Dec 25, 2012
May all your good wishes come true, and to the Christian readers, may Jesus Christ bring light to your homes. (I'm not trying to discriminate here, I wish all the happiness to all of you whatever you celebrate or do not celebrate, and whatever your religion is!!)
I leave you what I consider one of the best versions of my favourite Christmas song, Silent Night by Etta James.
Peace and Love to all,
Nati
Nail Look for Holidays: Party Hearty Montevideo
Dec 22, 2012
Hello my dears! How is your weekend going so far?
I have a short post today just to share with you a simple layering mani but I think it has quite a "festive" looking to it, that's why I included it in the series of "Nail Look for Holidays". For this mani I used Mavala Montevideo as a base and one coat of China Glaze Party Hearty on top. I kind of like the final result, what do you think about it?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Love,
Nati

The Battle Challenge: #8 Animal print vs. Tribal print
Dec 20, 2012
Hello Lovelies! How are you doing today?
Today I'm bringing you the 8th Battle of this Challenge and it's about Animal print vs. Tribal print. I hesitated a lot about this mani, because I originally wanted to combine tribal and animal print, changed my mind like a million times, because I don't have any animal print in my stamping plates and I don't know how to do it free hand! So I decided to do only the tribal print.

Hello Lovelies! How are you doing!
Gosh it's hot in here! The past few days I've been trying to adapt myself to this hot summer weather and it hasn't been easy. Gladly my mum does have air conditioner so it's good to be at home, but at soon as I go out, the unbearable heat just strikes and takes away all my desire to go shopping for Christmas gifts and I just wish to be by the swimming pool! lol.
Nail Look for Holidays: Red & Green (fimo)
Dec 17, 2012
I have to tell my arrival to Argentina has been very moving and emotional, but unfortunate also :( as soon as we arrived me and my baby got sick and we're still trying to get over the temperature, the cough and it's pretty hard because we got air conditioning everywhere and that just makes it worse :(
All Time Favourite: OPI Meet me at the Star Ferry
Dec 16, 2012
This was part of the OPI Hong Kong Collection for Spring 2010 and is one of the most unexpected shades of the collection in my opinion. I love the shimmer on this one, being fun, but subtle at the same time!
Do you own this shade? Do you like it as much as I do, or you're more like "meh" about it?
In other new, I thought I'd like to write one or two off topic posts about my home country and some fun traditions, landscapes, or things of the sort, would that be interesting for you?
Loads of love!

Fall Favourites Lancôme "La vie est Belle"
Dec 15, 2012
I came across this perfume at the end of September, and to be honest I tried it out because of the name. Ever since I first saw the Roberto Begnini's film La vita è Bella, many, many (many) years ago, its title has become my motto. I fell in love with the story back then, because it was like a poem, an ode to optimism and unconditional LOVE for life. I can't help to think about it when I were this fragrance, so my judgement is not objective at all (as anyone's could be). Optimism an unconditional Love this is what this scent evokes to me. But that just me.
For the rest, I really suck describing scents, so I'll copy-paste Lancôme description:
La vie est belle:
French expression (Life is beautiful)
[Philosophy of life and happiness or universal declaration to the beauty of life.
Eau de Parfum with the noblest natural ingredients [Concrete of Iris Pallida, Jasmin Sambac Absolute, Orange Blossom Absolute, Patchouli Essence...] lain on a bed of fine delicacies.
Unique olfactory signature exclusively created for Lancôme by three of France's leading perfumers.

So, what ybout you? Have you tried this scent? Is there any fragrance you like for other reasons than the perfume itself? Which was your favourite perfume this Fall? Please, let me know in the comments, don't be shy!
Love,
Nati

The Battle Challenge: #7 Geometric vs. Flora
Dec 13, 2012
Hi my dears! By the time you read this we will be already flying to Argentina!
Today all is about our trip, but I couldn't leave my Challange fellows alone, so I've scheduled this post about the 7th "Battle" of theme : Geometric vs. Flora. I went with a stamping nail art this time, because is "simpler" (though we know it's not the case for me, huh?). I've chosen the geometric theme and represented it by stamping skittles nails on a nude base.

Leaving for Holidays to Argentina!

Hello my dears! How are you doing today? I'm very excited because tomorrow we'll be leaving for Argentina to spend three wonderful summer weeks with family and friends! I'm so happy! We have all ready and set for the trip, we had to be a little more organized this time, since we are going with our baby and it's a really long (long) and tiring trip. First we have 1:30 hs by car to Zurich airport, then the usual 2 hours waiting for check-in and boarding, then a first 1:30 hour flight to Paris, then 1h waiting for the next flight, then 13 hours flight to Buenos Aires, then arriving we have usually 1 to 2 hours wait for customs trespass, then if we are lucky to catch the shuttle to Rosario soon (otherwise add 2 hours) another 5 hours to my lovely Rosario. If we get really lucky we'll get there in 24 hours! lol, but is totally worthy!
Essence Fantasia Limited Edition: Highlighter Powder
Dec 11, 2012
Hello my dears! How are you doing! Here it's been hectic washing, listing and packing here, since in two days we're off to Argentina!! I've been working hard for the blog, and for my wonderful readers and pal bloggers! I've scheduled a lot, A LOT, of posts. So, being on holiday three weeks and I had snap pictures of swatches and manicures enough until we are back! Phew! But now is done and I only have to write my posts the day in question, but the main info about the products is there. I thought it was not fair to leave the challenge like that, so I've done the next 4 manis in advance. Also, it was a pitty to miss the opportunity to show you some wonderful things for this winter when I come back everything will be about spring (or almost). Like for instance, did you know Essence has a new Limited Edition? It's called Fantasia, and it's wintery themed. For more details click here.

Hello my darlings! How are you enjoying your weekend?
I'm preparing some yummy stuff because today is my b-day, and I have invited some friends over, despite the mess my house still is, but I've been trying hard to make it decent last week, so they won't be all that shocked after all, lol.(continue reading after the jump)

Hello my Dears! How is your Saturday so far? I hope you're having fun!
I'm spending my weekend at home, preparing some treats because tomorrow is my b-day. I'm also thinking about our trip to Argentina, since we'll be leaving next Thursday and I need to have our luggage packed. While moving houses I've already put aside our summer clothes, so that's done. I've been thinking about what make up to take with me, and I decided I'll carry a small bag with the basics, I may post about that once I've got everything set. But as we'll be spending Christmas and New year's eve there, I thought it would be a good idea to take with me one colourful eyeshadow palette. (Continue reading after the jump)

Dec 6, 2012
Hello Dears! How are you doing today? Today is Saint Nicholas in Switzerland, and is the day the children receive small presents (candy, and a cute bread man called grittibaenz, but also small toys). I love it that today is my son's first time and that a man dressed in Saint Nicholas will go to the crèche and surprise all the children, I'm so excited! But he's probably too young to enjoy it, I'll enjoy it for him, lol!
Today I'm bringing you the 6th "Battle" of this challenge, which is a Theme Battle "Stripes vs. Dots". For doing this manicure I've been inspired by (continue reading after the jump)

My stash on the move. Part I : Nail Polish
Dec 2, 2012
Hello my dears! How is your Sunday so far? Today I was feeling tired all day, I haven't unpacked anything since yesterday, I even haven't painted my nails! I just *FINALLY* removed what I was wearing on my nails since last Wednesday and had to file all my nails very short because a couple of them broke during the move. I've been trying to read all the posts of my favourite blogs every evening but I'm so tired I end up sleeping over my laptop. I also would like to apologize because I haven't been reading a lot of blogs! My unread items list is so big! more than 400 items in 4 days! So I don't know if I'll be able to catch up with all the pending reading :(
What I have for you today is my stash on the move. I really like to see other people's stash posts, so I thought
The empties: October & November 2012 (and a little philosophy)
Dec 1, 2012
How's your weekend so far? We're in the middle of carton boxes, again, starting to UNpack in our new house. My hands and nails have certainly suffered these days! I was needing a break and I thought to publish this idea I saw somewhere and that was in my drafts. "The Empties!!"
This is what I've used up the past month or so, and my opinion whether I'd repurchase or not:
