The last Friday of the year, and we can officially start counting the hours for 2018! We are in the middle of Winter here and I thought it wouldn't hurt to show you one more Winter makeup look!
This month I've been playing with Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow Signe Particulier, which I haven't reached for in a while, but I must say these palette colours are so unusual and chic together, so appropriate for Winter, that I had to include it in this challenge. As you know, I took a short break from blogging because of the Holidays, and my blogging schedule is totally unusual, as posting a "Monday Shadow Challenge" participation on a Thursday, LOL. Today's look is a dark one, done using the colours "tyrian purple and gold glitter". I know I don't usually go this dark for my looks, but then it wouldn't be a "challenge" right?? Hello, sweeties! I hope you all had a beautiful and peaceful holiday and a Merry Christmas, for those who celebrate it. I decided to take a couple of days off blogging and social media, which turned to be actually 4 days and it was so good! The flu and winter viruses have not given me rest, my children still have a cold, my hubby is feeling under the weather and I am still coughing like a dog, but let's say we're slowly getting better. We made it through the celebrations -somehow- we took it easy, but still got to spend time with family and friends and eat and drink all the delicious things we prepared. It was cosy, without much pretentions, but we really enjoyed it! What was your Christmas/holiday like?

Ever since I came back from Strasbourg last Monday I've been sick as a dog. Yesterday I went to the doctor's and came home with a heavy load of pills and potions, LOL. Thanks to modern medicine my nose has recovered its breathing function and I could finally have a good night of sleep. I keep my fingers crossed to be healthy for Christmas Eve!! Speaking of which, don't you think is about time I showed you a Christmass look? I'm super happy today!! I am an auntie for the third time!! Yesterday evening we had the long-awaited announcement of the birth of my niece, she's gorgeous and so sweet! She's my sister's first child and she's going well as well. We are so so so happy :D
Well, now the post I had planned for today, lol. Last November my hubby travelled to Dubai and he brought me one absolutely beautiful present, the Desert Dusk palette from Huda Beauty! He asked me "what is one thing you'd like, you better choose something or I will choose for you and I might get you something you already have!" (he is so sweet and generous always!). I thought of this palette, though I don't really need it, but it is so beautiful and I was curious of this brand HUDA beauty that appears all around the internet and I wanted to try it for myself. So, today, I decided to show you a makeup look I created using only this palette and give you my first impressions.

This week the "26 Great Nail Art Ideas" Challenge prompt us to do a "insects or bugs" nail art. In total honestly, besides some ladybugs or cute little bees, I don't like the idea of insects on my nails. And both those ideas seemed so Spring-like, I thought I would go with a more "Abstract" kind of design and I opted for "dark butterfly wings".
