Hello lovelies! How are you? I was very impatient to share today's post with you, because is about a mani-swap with the sweet Ithfifi from Ithinity Beauty! Since I saw this idea of swapping manicures I have wanted to do it mysel, so here it is! This is my very first mani swap and I hope you like it!
What is a mani swap? Well, is rather simple, I try to recreate Ithi's design on my nails and she does the same with a design of mine. There is also room for creativity because each one can put her personal touch in it, of course. It has not been easy at all to choose one of Ithi's manicures, because they are all so arty, creative and beautiful. Finally I made up my mind and chose her "Gleaming oceanic gradient" manicure.
For the design I used OPI Pearl of wisdom, Manhattan 36L, Chanel Bel-Argus, NYX nails Blue Ave., NYX Ink nail art black liner, and holo glitter from Born Pretty Store.
Ithi chose to recreate a mani I did for a night out here. It came out beautifully and she has even filed her nails square for this design! Please, visit her blog to see it in more detail!
I hope you have liked this post and the mani swap idea, I have loved it and can't wait to do it again. If any of you is interested in swapping manis please contact me, I'd be most glad!!
Cariños,
Nati

DeleteSalut ma belle!!! I have seen this idea on Instagram a lot lately and find it wonderful!!! I love those oceanic nails - just drop dead gorgeous :-)! And I think your friend choose a very Nati-esque mani for recreating and also did a wonderful job. Isn't it amazing how similar yet different the same mani can look? Sadly my skills are nowhere close to be ready for a swap - I more often than not fail at my original idea and then go from there taking whatever will materialize on my nails - have a wonderful day - grand bisous xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, Christine you're being too modest! I've seen your nail art is gorgeous! and I'm sure you would rock any swap any time :D
DeleteI like this trend, well I just learned recently about it, because I'm the only person on Earth without IG, so I get late to every party. I would personally love to recreate one of your skittlettes, the only way I could get a skittle mani right is by copying it, and yet where would I find those rare and marvellous polishes you use??!
xxx
Que bonitas son. Me gusta la negra.

DeleteHola Natalia!
DeleteLovely - and with these stripes it looks even better :) I like it :)
ReplyDeleteTe ha quedado precioso!! Es clavado al original!!
ReplyDeleteUn beso, guapa :)
Fun idea :) I think you both did a great work.
