Nail Art │ 14 Valentines Day Nail Art ideas
Feb 13, 2020
Hello, my lovelies! Happy Thursday!
I'm posting on a Thursday rather than a Friday, because tomorrow as it is Valentine's Day and the hubby and I have plans of spending the afternoon, evening and night in a romantic escapade! We are not going far, in fact just a few kilometres from home, but enough to forget the daily routine and have some time for our couple. I'm so excited about it!!
Are you planning anything for Valentine's day? I know a lot of people don't care for this holiday in Europe, even us when we were younger we did not pay much attention to it. But after 22 years together (of which 16 years of marriage), you definitely need to seize every occasion to escape the routine, if you know what I mean!
I have no idea what I will wear tomorrow or what I'll pack in my bag, I'm not too worried about it, haha, but I definitely know what I will wear on my nails! LOL! Here it is my Valentine's manicure for 2020, and some other ideas from previous years in case you need some inspiration! I hope you like it!!
Nail Art │ Silhouette Scene Nail Design [26 Great Nail Art ideas]
Aug 17, 2018
Hello, sweeties! Happy Friday!
I hope you all had a great week and that you're planning and even better weekend! We will try to hit the Open Air Cinema this evening, with the kids. They are showing "The Incredibles II" and my children would love to watch it! The thing is, the show starts at 8:45 PM and I don't think my children will stay awake that late. The reason being it needs to be really dark for the movie to show properly outdoors. Do you like open-air cinemas?
Today the "26 Great Nail art Ideas Challenge" proposed us to make a manicure with a "silhouette scene". This is normally the manicure you'll sponge a sunset and place the silhouette of some palm trees on top. I have done that in the past here, so I thought to do a different thing this time, can you guess what it represents?

Happy weekend, lovelies!
Today is going to be a super Saturday! My hubby is taking me to the Open Air Opera concert in Avenches this evening! I am an opera lover and it's been so long since I went to the theatre (or anywhere really) to see one. In fact, this won't be exactly an opéra but a mix of famous opera Airs from different composers, interpreted by some of the greatest opera singers. I'm reeeeeally excited! This Opera festival is so special to me because it takes place in the ancient ruins of one of the Oldest Roman Amphiteatres in Switzerland. The whole city of Avenches is a historic gem and the amphitheatre has a special magic. He reserved places on the bleachers, were we used to go when we were young! The magic of it all is that you can go early and bring your own picnic. Eat your dinner while admiring the sun setting behind the imposing walls of the Amphitheatre. Then, when you think it couldn't get any more romantic, the orchestra starts playing and the most beautiful music invades the atmosphere. The bleachers are the cheapest seats. But I think those are the best! Firstly, these are gradins, not chairs, so you can be very close to your partner, or even cuddling. This is totally impossible in the stalls. You also have a beautiful view of all the amphitheatre and you are not as far from the scene as in the circle, which are more expensive seats. Also, as I mentioned, you can picnic comfortably and you can dress casually, which you can't do when you get seats in the "posh" area. The tickets were hs gift for mother's day and I must say they are the most beautiful present ever! If you want to keep up with us during the visit to Avenches, take a peek at our picnic and to the concert, please, be sure to follow my Instagram Stories!
Well, Into nail art! Today, the Nail Crazies Unite prompted us to create a "galaxy" manicure, so here is what I came up with, I hope you like it!

We'll be staying in a hotel that is especially recommended for family with children. And, you know what that means? Of course MOMMY VACATION! No cooking, no cleaning, no laundry, no washing up, not even making the beds for one whole week!! WIIIII! I am going to love it ;)
In the meantime, let me show you another manicure I did for the Nail Crazies Unite challenge. Today's theme is "The beach" and it is so, so appropriate!

Oct 28, 2016
Hello Sweeties!! Happy Friday!
Today, as every Friday is time for some nail art :) We are already counting the hours to Halloween, so the ladies of the "26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge" thought to challenge us to create a Halloween manicure with "the wrong colours"!! I don't like to think there are "wrong" or "right" colours so I came up with an idea: using inverted colours! Keep reading to find out how I did this manicure!

Hello Sweeties!! Happy Friday!
As I told you earlier this week, next week we'll take a few days off to enjoy a family vacation, so this weekend I might be taking a close look to the weather forecast (weather is so changing lately) so I can properly pack. I will probably end up overpacking..right? but I do that regardless of the weather conditions since I have children! What will you be up to this weekend?
Now, I'm quite sad to introduce the VERY LAST appointment of the 40 Great Nail art Ideas Challenge. OH no!! I can't believe I've created 52 nail arts for this challenge and one whole year just went by like that, but yes, that's the case. The prompt this last week is "earth tones". Today's manicure is also a good one for short nails, I hope you like it!
