Empties │ The products I've used up recently vol. XXVIII [Body & Hair care]
Mar 31, 2018
Hello, my lovelies! How is your Weekend so far?
We've got everything ready for our Easter celebration tomorrow, we are going to spend it at home with family and FOOD! Of course, I plan to cook all morning, and I love it!
As we are on the very last day of March, I thought it was a good moment to share my opinion on the products I've used up recently. There aren't many, but these are definitely great ones. I hope you find this one useful.
Nail Art │ 'Pond' Manicure in purple and pink [26GNAI]
Mar 30, 2018
Hello, lovelies! How are you today?
I don't wish you happy Friday as I usually do because today is Good Friday and for my religion is a day we reflect on the suffering, a day for grieving before the renewal and the rebirth that the idea of resurrection brings within. Today is a holiday in my country, and for me, it is a day for introspection. We don't do anything special, we eat frugally and we stay at home. If I'm not too tired, I watch the Via Crucis on live streaming once the children go to bed. That's about it. Is today a holiday in your country too? What do you do on days like today?
I have already prepared a manicure for today's Nail Art Challenge, which is "Pond Mani". What? If you'd like to find out what Pond manicure means, please, keep reading!
Skincare │ Premier Prestige Miracle Noir Mask. Luxury in a jar.
Mar 29, 2018
I am so very excited to be writing about some new skincare I have been trying lately! I know, there is not much suspense this time, the question: "does this really work?" is totally redundant this time. When you perceive my excitement, you already know I am going to talk about an amazing product today.
I've been using the Premier Prestige Miracle Noir Mask from the luxury skincare brand Premier Dead Sea and I am so impressed I couldn't wait to share with you my fully informal but extremely honest review. Please, keep reading!

Makeup │Kahki, carmine red and Big Hair [Monday Shadow Challenge]
Mar 26, 2018
Happy Monday, my lovelies!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and that started your week in great shape! We had time set to daylight saving on Sunday, which is always a tad disturbing for the family routine, but we are catching up like champions ;)
I couldn't be more excited that Easter is almost here, which means school break, of course, but mainly is the best excuse ever to indulge in excessive amounts of chocolate! I love dark chocolate, which is your favourite? Dark, milk chocolate or white? or maybe some other type of candy?
Well, enough about that, let's get into makeup! As every Monday I have a new makeup to share with you for the Monday Shadow Challenge. This time the colours are "khaki and carmine red" and this is what I came up with... I hope you like it!
Makeup │ Teal and Purple look for the Sign of Aries [Zodiac Makeup Challenge]
Mar 22, 2018
Hello, my lovelies!
How has Spring started for you? Do you have any plans for this season? Maybe a trip somewhere? I don't know about you, but mid-March sounds a lot more encouraging to me to make resolutions than January, that ever since I live in the northern hemisphere. Personally, I'm more motivated to get fit now than I was in January, lol. I am only hoping for warmer days, it is still very cold around here! We've already booked a family trip for our Spring break, we'll spend a few days in Barcelona. I'm soooo looking forward to it! My last trip to the beautiful Spanish city was in 2002, I don't even know what to expect or what to do? I'll need some planning for this trip... Don't hesitate to leave me a comment if you have some suggestions!
Now, into makeup! Well, if you've been following me lately, you know I'm showing more love to the makeup I own instead of buying new and I challenged myself to create twelve different looks with the BHCosmetics Zodiac palette, one for each sign. Today I focus on "Aries" sign and here is my look, I hope you like it!
Makeup │ Soft and Luminous Look in Pink [Monday Shadow Challenge]
Mar 19, 2018
Happy Monday, my lovelies!
How was your weekend? I was feeling super weird on Sunday, sad, irritated, for no apparent reason, it was simply a general uncomfort that I couldn't pin down. I wanted to go out, but I felt very tired, I couldn't make up my mind about what I wanted to do. Something was bothering me but I was not able to tell what it was. I put up with this discomfort most of the day, blaming my new hormonal medication. Does this ever happen to you?
Other than that, I am quite certain by now that I am not the only one longing for SPRING, which seems to be playing hard to get. So the ladies from the Monday Shadow Challenge thought that a tad of pastel and soft colours would make this long winter taste a little bit like Spring, using "Pastel pink and silver". I hope you like it!
Nail Art │ French manicure in Green and Gold [26GNAI]
Mar 18, 2018
Hello Sweeties! How was your weekend?
I'm a little late for posting my manicure for the "26 Great nail Art Ideas" Challenge, I intended to post it yesterday as it was for St. Patrick's day, but I was too excited to tell you about my new hair care routine and I didn't want to exaust you with two posts on a Saturday, lol. The theme for this week is "French manicure with a twist" which means simply to create a nail art with the same technique of a French manicure but with a funky touch. I chose to go change the colours and used green and gold for my French manicure! Keep reading to find out more about it!

Mar 15, 2018
Hello, sweeties! How are you today?
After a week that started out pretty bad, I am very happy today. I'm already thinking about a nice family plan for the weekend, I really NEED to have some fun and a good laugh wouldn't be bad either. Our 6-year-old boy is having a party all the Sunday afternoon and I was thinking what could my hubby my toddler and I do during that time that would be lots of fun? Do you have any recommendations for me? What do you do with your family when you want fun and laughs? Please, I would really, REALLY appreciate your advice in the comments!
Well, let's get into makeup. As every month, today I have a new edition of "shopping my stash" challenge. This month I've been playing with Chanel Quadra Eye Shadw #20 Regard Perlé, which has been featured in this blog several times. It is one of my favourites pieces in my collection so I couldn't leave it out of this challenge! Today I'm showing you my favourite of all the looks I've created with it, I hope you like it :)
Korean Beauty │ Upgrading Vitamin C in my skincare routine with Tia'm My Signature C Source
Mar 13, 2018
Hello, lovelies!
How are you today? It's been one of the toughest days ever, and everything seems to go wrong, so I decided to sit down and shake it all off by doing one of my favourite things: chatting about skincare!
You might know by now that Korean skincare products are all the rage, many of the big occidental distributors and retailers have included great Korean products to their assortments, so this is not new. I appreciate finding many of my favourite Face masks at Sephora, for example. But the truth is, when I am trying to explore a little deeper into the ocean of Korean brands and products, I turn to one of the specialized boutiques in Switzerland. BoOonBox is where I go to pick items I never tried before, like this Vitamin C Serum from the brand Tia'm.

Makeup │ Electric look in Blue and Purple [Monday Shadow Challenge]
Mar 12, 2018
Happy Monday, my lovelies!
I hope you all had a nice weekend! I didn't do anything special, I blogged and rested most of it. The rainy weather was a perfect excuse for cuddling with the hubby, with the kids on top. Yeah, it seems that's automatic, when mummy and dad hug each other, the kids jump on top like puppies! Is it the case for you too? We are huggers, I think that's a good thing, once I read that a human being needs hugs to be happy, it was something like "We need 4 hugs a day for survival. We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance. We need 12 hugs a day for growth." I don't know if it's true, but usually, my weekends start with two little children coming to my bedroom, jumping into my bed to wake me up with a hug and it's one of the best things of my life. What about you? Are you a hugger?
Well, you know what comes now... It's makeup time! Let's bring a touch of bold colours to brighten up such a gloomy, windy and rainy Monday! Today's makeup for the Monday Shadow Challenge combines "purple and royal blue". The result is ELECTRIC!

Makeup │ Brand in the Spotlight: H&M
Mar 8, 2018
Hello, Sweeties!
It's been a while since H&M launched its own makeup and cosmetics range in September 2015. I think since about mid-2016, the whole range became available in the only H&M store in my small city of Biel. Since then, as I'm forever curious about new makeup, I picked a few items here and there, that I used gladly, others that I didn't like. But many of them have been featured on this blog in my different makeup looks. Today I'm gathering in one post the products I like the most from this brand, I'm also showing you a makeup look I made with them. I hope you like it!
Stationary │ New Happy Planner Stickers and Accessories
Mar 6, 2018
I'm a total sucker for stationary, in general. When I enter a stationary shop, my little eyes gleam with rainbow glitter! I can't help it, all those colours and small items that are already pretty themselves, but in addition, they are meant for creative activities! When I was young, I used to do a lot of creative manual activities, I draw, paint, make collages, so I always found something useful in the stationary shops. Nowadays, I don't longer paint or draw, but my main "creative" activity is decorating my planner. For many years I kept a regular planner, to keep track of my activities, appointments and notes, but it wasn't a creative outlet. A few years ago I discovered Happy Planner, which is not only incredibly customizable for your own needs, but also allows for some entertaining creativity to happen.
I bought my planner in 2016, and since then I only keep adding months to the same planner. Today, I'd like to show you some decorative (but also useful) stickers and accessories for my planner that I bought recently from MAMBI.
Makeup │Transition to Spring in chocolate brown and light green [Monday Shadow Challenge]
Hello, my lovelies!
Have you done anything special last weekend? last week it snowed a lot around here and we were hoping it would stick through the weekend so we could take the kids sledding, and it did! So we had lots of fun in the snow! Has it snowed where you live?
Now, let's get into makeup! As much as I enjoy playing in the snow with my children, I'm pretty much fed up with winter by now and I REALLY want Spring to arrive. Seriously. Today's makeup was done last week when the temperature reached -20°C and I was praying for it to get warmer! The Monday Shadow Challenge combines "chocolate brown and anise green" and I created a simple makeup as a transition from winter to spring. I hope you like it!
Nail Art │ Pink Satin Paisley manicure done with Silicone Mat [Tutorial]
Mar 4, 2018
Hello, my lovelies! How are you today?
I only have a few minutes to write today, but I really wanted to share this manicure I made for the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge this week. Our challenge prompt was not a "theme" or a colour but a nail art technique. Basically, we could do whatever design we wanted, with whatever colours we preferred, as long as we used a "silicon mat" as a tool in the process of making the nail art. If you are new to nail art, you must be wondering what the heck is this "silicon mat" thing. You might find this tool a bit strange, but a silicon mat has become a must-have for any nail artist. Keep reading to find out why!

Makeup │Soft neutral look using NARS Man Ray Love Game palette
Mar 1, 2018
Hello, sweeties!
After a long very cold week, we woke up this morning to a beautiful white snowy landscape! The whole Switzerland is under the snow! For us in the city of Biel is the first real snow this winter and my children were so excited to go out this morning that 7:30 am everybody was ready and fully dressed according to the weather. My two-year-old girl went singing "jingle bells" all the way to the daycare, lol. I think she was a bit confused, haha, but I found it so sweet I couldn't tell her anything. I think she wasn't the only one. The city authorities might have been confused as well, because even at 8 AM no street or pavement was shovelled or cleared, I struggled to push my girl in her stroller! and my stroller has special features for snow.
Well, let's get into makeup! I've prepared today's look a few days ago, because I wanted a fresh and soft look like one I would wear in Spring. However, now that everything is covered in snow, I wouldn't mind a few more days of winter, lol. For today's makeup I used a beautiful palette from NARS which was released last year for Fall in the "Man Ray" collection, this is the NARS Love Game palette, which was a limited edition but it is still available in Sephora.fr.
