Soft neutral makeup look using NARS Man Ray Love Game palette

Hello, sweeties!
After a long very cold week, we woke up this morning to a beautiful white snowy landscape! The whole Switzerland is under the snow! For us in the city of Biel is the first real snow this winter and my children were so excited to go out this morning that 7:30 am everybody was ready and fully dressed according to the weather. My two-year-old girl went singing "jingle bells" all the way to the daycare, lol. I think she was a bit confused, haha, but I found it so sweet I couldn't tell her anything. I think she wasn't the only one. The city authorities might have been confused as well, because even at 8 AM no street or pavement was shovelled or cleared, I struggled to push my girl in her stroller! and my stroller has special features for snow.
Well, let's get into makeup! I've prepared today's look a few days ago, because I wanted a fresh and soft look like one I would wear in Spring. However, now that everything is covered in snow, I wouldn't mind a few more days of winter, lol. For today's makeup I used a beautiful palette from NARS which was released last year for Fall in the "Man Ray" collection, this is the NARS Love Game palette, which was a limited edition but it is still available in Sephora.fr.

My first impression on the NARS Love Game palette (Man Ray collection)

I still haven't tried all the colours in this palette on my eyelids, so I am not really going to do an in-depth review this time. I've only done two makeup looks so far with it so this will be most like a "first impressions" post. The packaging of the palette is very eye-catching and also artistic. The plastic is sturdy and the finish is high quality. It doesn't come with a brush, which I don't really mind, but it comes with a decently sized mirror which I actually appreciate.
I forgot to take a picture, but the names for each colour are written in the back of the palette.
This is my very first NARS makeup item, I don't even own lipsticks or blushes (which are the most famous product from the brand). -but in total honesty, I got the palette last year during Black Friday, because I'm quite a fan of Man Ray. So yes, total collectionist purchase. But is this palette worth its price?

Talking about the colours, I'd say it is very well composed, most shades are matte or satin finish with subtle shimmer. In terms of hues, I really like it, I find it is very complete, it has soft nude shades for every day use, a couple of medium shades for more definition and dark rich colours to upgrade your look for a party or night out. So if you are someone who likes to own only ONE palette for all and every occasion, this one fill is the blank!

I must say I was positively surprised by the quality and pigmentation as I didn't have high hopes. I know by reading many beauty bloggers that the opinions about NARS regular eyeshadows are very divided, most saying it's nothing exceptional, but with this palette they seem to have upgraded their game. All the colours seems very easy to work with (I remind you that I have only used half of the colours on my eyes so far, but I've swatched all of them). They are not powdery at all, but not hard either, they are silky and lightweight, they deliver a decent pigmentation that can easily be built up for more intensity. It's still far from the pigmentation of my favourite shades from Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH), but not bad at all. I know some people are driven crazy by ABH shadows because they have got a kick-up and fall-out, so for those people, this palette might be very convenient.

I want to try this palette a little more, play with all the colours before writing a whole review, but I can say that the colour selection is very beautiful and the whole palette is pretty versatile.

For this look I used / Voici la liste de produits:
After all the very colourful and charged up makeup looks that I've been wearing during the whole winter, this little nude look with a touch of pink-coral on the lips feels very refreshing. I have enjoyed using this palette which is very beautiful! What do you think of the palette? And what about my makeup? Let me know in the comments :)

Love,
Nati
