Today I want to talk to you about 5 Drugstore Lipsticks that I've been obsessing about! Oh yes, I love me some fancy high-end makeup now and then, but in total honesty, so many drugstore brands carry really good lipsticks that have nothing to envy to the luxury ones. But yes, drugstore ranges are not always consistent, and some brands are a bit of hit and miss, so it takes a lot of try and error to find THE ONE. So, here I am doing the job for you! I introduce to you 5 really amazing options to have your lips on-point without breaking the bank! I'll talk about the brands H&M, Essence Cosmetics, Gosh Copenaghen, Maybelline New York and Cover Girl!

It is a bank holiday here in Switzerland, so we are enjoying a long weekend! What about you? Is it a bank holiday where you live?
We've spent a lovely but rainy weekend, we could share a moment with friends and family and it was awesome! We attended a lunch party in honour of my Godson who already got his Confirmation and it was amazing, it was emotional, fun and we had the most delicious food, as always the best time, whatever the weather, with our dear friends.
Today, I would like to share with you a nail design I created for the "When Colors Collide" nail art challenge. This week's challenge was about the colours nude and gold, such a lovely combo! I think nude and gold manicures are perfect for the season. Check out what I've created with these colours!

Today there is a new makeup challenge with the "Monday Shadow Challenge", which consists of creating a makeup look using "Anthracite" and "gold" colours. I decided to use again some of my favourite makeup products recently released by Wetnwild, especially the liquid eyeshadows. You'd be amazed to know how easy was creating a smokey look with those! After a long very cold week, we woke up this morning to a beautiful white snowy landscape! The whole Switzerland is under the snow! For us in the city of Biel is the first real snow this winter and my children were so excited to go out this morning that 7:30 am everybody was ready and fully dressed according to the weather. My two-year-old girl went singing "jingle bells" all the way to the daycare, lol. I think she was a bit confused, haha, but I found it so sweet I couldn't tell her anything. I think she wasn't the only one. The city authorities might have been confused as well, because even at 8 AM no street or pavement was shovelled or cleared, I struggled to push my girl in her stroller! and my stroller has special features for snow.
Well, let's get into makeup! I've prepared today's look a few days ago, because I wanted a fresh and soft look like one I would wear in Spring. However, now that everything is covered in snow, I wouldn't mind a few more days of winter, lol. For today's makeup I used a beautiful palette from NARS which was released last year for Fall in the "Man Ray" collection, this is the NARS Love Game palette, which was a limited edition but it is still available in Sephora.fr.

Did you know Sunday is Father's day in Switzerland? If not, you should be really thinking about something for your daddy because you are almost at the last minute!! My dad is in Argentina and he celebrates el día del padre on June 19th. My hubby is Italian and La festa del papà was on March 19th. But of course, our children have had a great idea to celebrate their daddy this weekend, so that is what we are going to do (i don't give more details because it is supposed to be a surprise, lol).
Now, right, nail art, that's what you're here for! This week's prompt for the Nail Crazies Unite challenge is "Music". I always have such a hard time with "abstract" themes, like if music wasn't already difficult to represent graphically, just imagine to do so on a nail!! Well, this manicure turned out quite messy, of course I didn't intend it to be like that... it looks kinda chaotic, LOL.

Some jobs are very strict and don't allow nail polish at all. Some jobs are super relaxed and you could sport the craziest nail art to work without a problem. But, in between the two extremes, there are those jobs where while you can still wear nail polish, the very conservative environment (or different reasons) would require a discreet, lo-profile nail grooming. So today my challenge pals and I are here to remind you that being conservative and discreet doesn't mean boring! You can totally wear nail art to a conservative job and slaaaaay! ...in a discreet way, of course.

Today is my little princess first birthday :) I can barely believe it's been already one year since she came to our lives, and to see her pics from one year ago, and see how much she's changed and grow, just melts my heart with joy.
