Happy Monday, sweeties!
It is a bank holiday here in Switzerland, so we are enjoying a long weekend! What about you? Is it a bank holiday where you live?
We've spent a lovely but rainy weekend, we could share a moment with friends and family and it was awesome! We attended a lunch party in honour of my Godson who already got his Confirmation and it was amazing, it was emotional, fun and we had the most delicious food, as always the best time, whatever the weather, with our dear friends.
Today, I would like to share with you a nail design I created for the "When Colors Collide" nail art challenge. This week's challenge was about the colours nude and gold, such a lovely combo! I think nude and gold manicures are perfect for the season. Check out what I've created with these colours!
Here are the steps I followed to create this look:
1) I first painted all of my nails with this chic neutral nude from OPI, this is a pretty universally flattering shade that was first released as part of the collection Fiji, but is currently part of the permanent range.
2) I stamped different chevron designs using rose gold nail polish, but not on all nails! On the nails that were not stamped, I used the "smoosh" or "saran wrap technique, which consists of dabbing a silicon stamper or a small piece of saran wrap on top of a blob of nail polish. The result is a marble effect of the colours you chose to use.
3) Once everything was dry, I sealed my design with clear topcoat and that was it!
- OPI nail polish "Coconuts about OPI"(mint) from the Fiji Collection
- Butter London nail lacquer "Goss" (rose gold)
- MoYou London stamping polish "White Knight" (white)
- MoYou London Shapes Collection #02 Stamping plate
- Beauty BigBang Clear Stamper
- Top Coat Seche Vite
Have a lovely weekend!
Love,
Nati
