Happy Saturday sweeties! How have you spent the day?
For the past few weeks, I've been late for the appointment with the 40 Great nail art ideas Challenge. The very simple reason is I am very busy lately, and by the time I reach Friday, I am so tired I can't stay up late for writing (that's when I prepare my posts while everybody else sleeps). So I thought, instead of fighting my own exhausted self, I would let it flow, try to have my well deserve rest, and post when I can. I hope you bear with me!
This week we are doing our manicures with a MUST for the season: "Wedding" inspired nail art!
When it comes to the bride's manicure, I personally believe less is more. In fact, a simple polished French manicure would be my go to choice, maybe adding a very subtle twist, like a small rhinestone in one of the nails or a very delicate detail along the nail line with a soft colour. But of course, this challenge is there to push creativity, and I also had to try this gorgeous Born Pretty Stamping plate with all lace-like designs and I thought to come up with this cute lace stamping over nude.
The shade I used for the base is Cuccio Colour Ski to Skin, which is such a lovely neutral nude! I then stamped on it using Essence stampy polish white and the Born Pretty Store BPL-020 stamping plate.
What do you think of this manicure? It is still quite subtle I guess, would that be appropriate for a wedding? for a bride? or a bridesmaid? or simply for a guest to a wedding? Would you wear something like this on your nails?Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Have a nice evening and a beautiful and relaxing Sunday !
Love,
Nati
