Nail Art │ Winter Nail Design with Polar Bear
Jan 25, 2019
Hello, my lovelies! Happy Friday!
I hope you had a lovely week. it's being super cold around here these days, so today's "Nail Stamping Sisterhood" challenge is the most appropriate, as the theme is "Arctic"! I've done many manicures with snow this season, so I thought to do something a bit different today. I don't usually do figurative nail art, I stick mostly to abstract shapes and patterns, but this time it seemed a good idea adding a cute polar bear on my nails! I hope you like it.
Nail Art │ Winter Floral Manicure
Jan 12, 2019
Hello, my lovelies! Happy weekend!
I am finally home! I arrived yesterday from Argentina and had planned to post here, but I couldn't because I was terribly jetlagged. It was awful! We had our flight at noon on Thursday and flew for 14 hours arriving in Zurich on Friday morning. But in order to be on time at the airport, the driver thought it was a good idea to depart from home at 4am on Thursday. Meaning we had to get up at 3 am, which actually meant that I caught less than 3 hours sleep, of course. Little I knew those three hours of sleep on Wednesday, would be last sleep I'd get until arriving home on Friday.
Needless to say, we were exhausted! Still trying to fix our body sleeping and eating rythms today.
Luckily I had one more manicure ready to share with you! This time it is not about a Nail art challenge, but the manicure I wore during my two first weeks in Argentina. I chose to create something that would be appropriate for winter and also summer, so I came up with a floral look. I hope you like it!
Nail Art │ Ugly Sweater Holiday Manicure
Dec 21, 2018
Hello, sweeties! Happy Friday!
I arrived yesterday to my parent's home in Argentina after 24 hours travel. I didn't have time to share on Social media because I was too busy living the moment. I haven't been to my home country in two years and the reunion with my parents, my brother and nephews and my sister in law was full of emotion and we had so much to talk about!!
We have a lot of plans for this weekend and for the upcoming holidays, but I also have a lot of content to share with you, I just don't know when I will find the time haha! Given the fact that we have also 4 hours difference. My plan for the blog schedule for the next three weeks, is to post on Mondays and Fridays evenings, maybe once more on Wednesday if I have the time. Let's see if I will make it ;)
Today the "Nail Stamping Sisterhood" Facebook Group proposed us to make a manicure with "Ugly Sweater" theme, which is a very popular theme in this season, especially in the northern hemisphere! LOL Dusing my childhood and youth I lived in Argentina where is a very torrid summer during Christmas and New Years' festivities. Those festivities never included "ugly sweaters" or any other sweater, so this is something I learned when I moved to Switzerland 15 years ago. What about you? Is it cold or warm during Holiday Season where you live?
I hope you will like my manicure :)
Nail art │ No-Shave November Nail Design. Raising Male Cancer Awareness.
Nov 24, 2018
Hello, sweeties! Happy Weekend!
I hope you all had a great week and that you're planning and even better weekend! We'll be celebrating hubby's birthday this evening (in fact his b-day was last Wednesday). But this evening he'll take us to one of the best Swiss restaurants, where the Michelin starred Chef Soldati prepares the most delicious gastronomic versions of traditional Swiss cuisine!! I can't tell you how excited I am, but I'm not the only one, everyone in our family is a foodie, and my children keep asking me (ever hour or so for the past three days...) "when we go to the restaurant!?" LOL.
Today the "Nail Stamping Sisterhood" Facebook Group proposed us to make a manicure with a "No Shave November"to raise awareness on male cancer. If you didn't know about this, please visit the web https://no-shave.org/ !! The "Mo-vember" consists in male growing a moustache or a beard, to raise awareness on prostate cancer or other types of male cancer. This is obviously not a "male-only" matter, and we at the nail art group, as most of us can't grow a moustache (lol) we show solidarity and help raise awareness with our nail art! I hope you like it!!
Nail Art │ Snow and Ice Nail Design
Sep 15, 2018
Hello, sweeties! How are you?
Today we have another appointment for the "26 Great Nail Art Ideas" Challenge! This week's theme is Ice and/or Fire nails. I think this theme came out having in mind the books "Song of Ice and Fire", on which is based the well-known tv series "Games of Thrones".
Unfortunately, this time I don't have a new nail art to share with you. I had a very busy week and I couldn't do nail art or even paint my nails! You know, I'm sure you've had those pretty hectic weeks when you are unable of taking time for your hobbies, well this was it for me.
But I have over one thousand blogpost already written in this blog (WHAT??!!) I was sure to find something related to this week's theme, and I did! So for today's challenge I am reproposing to you a nail art I've done in the past, which is inspired by snow and ice. I hope you'll like it :)
The Cutest and Most Practical Beauty Bag I Ever Got (and other goodies from Born Pretty Store)
Sep 13, 2018
Hello, sweeties! How are you today?
I have four items from Born Pretty Store for review that are really awesome! I got two beauty items: one (or better said TWO!) beauty case/bag(s)*, some new disposable beauty sponges* and two nail art goodies: some fantastic 3D nail decals in rose gold* and one super innovative and cute "nano buffer"* with UNICORNS! The one that has impressed me the most is the foldable beauty bag, OMG, that one is so amazing that you definitely need two (because your daughter/mom/sister/best friend/neighbour will see yours and will want one for herself!!) Would you like to take a closer look to these products? Keep reading then!
Nail Art │ Silhouette Scene Nail Design [26 Great Nail Art ideas]
Aug 17, 2018
Hello, sweeties! Happy Friday!
I hope you all had a great week and that you're planning and even better weekend! We will try to hit the Open Air Cinema this evening, with the kids. They are showing "The Incredibles II" and my children would love to watch it! The thing is, the show starts at 8:45 PM and I don't think my children will stay awake that late. The reason being it needs to be really dark for the movie to show properly outdoors. Do you like open-air cinemas?
Today the "26 Great Nail art Ideas Challenge" proposed us to make a manicure with a "silhouette scene". This is normally the manicure you'll sponge a sunset and place the silhouette of some palm trees on top. I have done that in the past here, so I thought to do a different thing this time, can you guess what it represents?
Nail Art │ Rainbow nail art inspired on Lisa Frank's work [Nail Crazies Unite]
Jun 15, 2018
Happy Friday, lovelies!
How are you doing? We are super excited for the weekend ahead, that'd be very social, full of parties, BBQs and friends. Can't wait!
Today, the Nail Crazies Unite prompted us to create a manicure inspired by the work of the artist Lisa Frank. So here is what I came up with, I hope you like it!
Nail Art │ Happy popping floral Manicure
Jun 2, 2018
Happy Weekend, lovelies!
How are you doing? We are having a lovely weather this weekend and we are planning on going berry-picking tomorrow to celebrate Father's day! Is it father's day also in your country tomorrow?
Today, I am saddly skipping the Nail Crazies Unite challenge! How come? well, today's challenge is "favourite TV show", and I was no inspired at all! I don't watch much TV, but my favourite show would be Games of Thrones, however, my little head couldn't give me one single nice idea for making a manicure that wouldn't take hours of free-hand painting (which anyways I totally suck at!). So I decided to deliberately skipped the challenge today, and show you the manicure I wore last Sunday for my daughters birthday party. This is a very bright and popping floral manicure, I hope you like it!

Hello, lovelies! Happy Friday!
Yesterday, my little princess turned 3! It was such a delightful day although we didn't leave the house (the weather was terrible). She was so very happy of becoming "a big girl" and her joy was contagious. I've enjoyed the day a lot and, of course, I was off-line, off-blog, off-social media which was really needed. The day was full of surprises, I made chocolate-cookie cheesecake, we received a HUGE box from Argentina with presents for my little girl (and my boy too) from my mother, it is always such a joy to open those, they are full of magic in a way. We also had the last minute unexpected but so pleasant visit of my little girl's godmother! She's the best friend ever! We will organize a party later this month, with friends, family, games, food and balloons, so I didn't invite anyone yesterday. She came say hello, because she knows my girl is telephone-shy and unable to say a word on a video call. That was heartwarming and everyone went to bed with a smile after such a beautiful day!
So, let's get into nail art! Today the "26 Great Nail art Ideas Challenge" prompt us to create a design with "rainbows done with a technique starting with letter S" So Here I am showing you my nails done with "Stabilobossing stamping", LOL I just made that up. But if you want to find out what this is about, please, keep reading!
Nail Art │ Multichrome Mermaid Nails [26 Great Nail Art Ideas]
Apr 28, 2018
Hello, lovelies! Happy weekend!
Have you planned anything fun for today? My weekend started a little awkwardly but also with very pleasant moments.
Yesterday morning I had a pretty nasty fall, I slipped so awkwardly with one carpet at home that wasn't secure, and I was wearing flip-flops, I actually flipped in the air and landed on my coccyx :O I spent most of the day...
Nail Art │Nail design with Round shapes [26GNAI Challenge]

Hello, lovelies! Happy Friday!
I am enjoying my last day in Barcelona with my family, planning to really savour it despite some rain we are having today. We had a very intense day yesterday, we stroll the city up and down, we spent good 12 hours outside, and children kept up with our pace amazingly! So, this morning we are taking it easy, the children are still having a rest and as it is rainy outside, I thought it was a good moment to squeeze some blogging into the schedule and share my latest manicure with you.
I have already prepared a manicure for today's Nail Art Challenge, which is "Things that are round". I wanted to avoid circles and dots, so I opted for a more "abstract design". I hope you like it.
Nail Art │ 'Pond' Manicure in purple and pink [26GNAI]
Mar 30, 2018
Hello, lovelies! How are you today?
I don't wish you happy Friday as I usually do because today is Good Friday and for my religion is a day we reflect on the suffering, a day for grieving before the renewal and the rebirth that the idea of resurrection brings within. Today is a holiday in my country, and for me, it is a day for introspection. We don't do anything special, we eat frugally and we stay at home. If I'm not too tired, I watch the Via Crucis on live streaming once the children go to bed. That's about it. Is today a holiday in your country too? What do you do on days like today?
I have already prepared a manicure for today's Nail Art Challenge, which is "Pond Mani". What? If you'd like to find out what Pond manicure means, please, keep reading!
Nail art │ Nail design about 'hobbies' [Nail crazies unite]
Feb 24, 2018
Hello, my lovelies!
What's your hobby? There's a lot of things that I enjoy doing for fun, but in the past few years I find nail art one of my favourite hobbies. It's a creative activity, that involves a little planning, some practice and special technique, and it also kind of therapeutic! It definitely helps me unwind and relax!
For today's manicure, the girls of the "Nail Crazies Unite" challenge are doing "Hobbies" theme nail art using colours "red and black". My challenge today was creating a nail art that evokes nail art!! It was so much fun!
Nail Art │ Subtle green and gold design with Deer [Nail crazies unite]
Jan 27, 2018
Hello, lovelies!
It's time for a new manicure!! Today the girls of the "Nail Crazies Unite" challenge are doing "winter animals". I admit I'm still a little confused about the prompt, because what exactly are winter animals? I gave up thinking and went for cute deer, that I relate to winter as well. I hope you like it!
Nail art │ Dark Butterfly wings [26GNAI]
Dec 9, 2017
Hello Sweeties! Happy Saturday!!
It is a beautiful (and very cold) snowy morning here, what is it like where you live? I'm very happy today because it is my birthday and hubby will be taking us to my favourite place for dinner in the whole world. I'm sooooo excited I can hardly wait for dinner! I was also trying to put together a little surprise for you, but couldn't manage to make it in time, so that will be up tomorrow! Stay tuned, I know you will like it!!
This week the "26 Great Nail Art Ideas" Challenge prompt us to do a "insects or bugs" nail art. In total honestly, besides some ladybugs or cute little bees, I don't like the idea of insects on my nails. And both those ideas seemed so Spring-like, I thought I would go with a more "Abstract" kind of design and I opted for "dark butterfly wings".
