Hello, lovelies! Happy Friday!
Yesterday, my little princess turned 3! It was such a delightful day although we didn't leave the house (the weather was terrible). She was so very happy of becoming "a big girl" and her joy was contagious. I've enjoyed the day a lot and, of course, I was off-line, off-blog, off-social media which was really needed. The day was full of surprises, I made chocolate-cookie cheesecake, we received a HUGE box from Argentina with presents for my little girl (and my boy too) from my mother, it is always such a joy to open those, they are full of magic in a way. We also had the last minute unexpected but so pleasant visit of my little girl's godmother! She's the best friend ever! We will organize a party later this month, with friends, family, games, food and balloons, so I didn't invite anyone yesterday. She came say hello, because she knows my girl is telephone-shy and unable to say a word on a video call. That was heartwarming and everyone went to bed with a smile after such a beautiful day!
So, let's get into nail art! Today the "26 Great Nail art Ideas Challenge" prompt us to create a design with "rainbows done with a technique starting with letter S" So Here I am showing you my nails done with "Stabilobossing stamping", LOL I just made that up. But if you want to find out what this is about, please, keep reading!
To create my manicure I used this beautiful Essie nail polish as a base. This is such a gorgeous colour I almost felt bad to cover it up with nail designs. Such a stunning colour! But I will have other occasions to wear it alone.
Once my image was coloured in, I then applie the white stamping polish on it, scraped and stamped on the nail as usual. The white nail polish would pick up the Stabilo Boss colour with it, so that you will see on the nail the actual gradient of colours.
These are the products and Items I used:
- Essie Nail Polish "Dressed to the nineties"
- Stabilo Boss Original Highlighters
- MoYou London Stamping nail polish in White knight"
- Born Pretty Store Stamping plate BPL-028
Love,
Nati
