Nail Art │ Neon Rainbow Nail Design [26 Great Nail Art Ideas]

May 11, 2018

Hello, lovelies! Happy Friday!

Yesterday, my little princess turned 3! It was such a delightful day although we didn't leave the house (the weather was terrible). She was so very happy of becoming "a big girl" and her joy was contagious. I've enjoyed the day a lot and, of course, I was off-line, off-blog, off-social media which was really needed. The day was full of surprises, I made chocolate-cookie cheesecake, we received a HUGE box from Argentina with presents for my little girl (and my boy too) from my mother, it is always such a joy to open those, they are full of magic in a way. We also had the last minute unexpected but so pleasant visit of my little girl's godmother! She's the best friend ever! We will organize a party later this month, with friends, family, games, food and balloons, so I didn't invite anyone yesterday. She came say hello, because she knows my girl is telephone-shy and unable to say a word on a video call. That was heartwarming and everyone went to bed with a smile after such a beautiful day!

So, let's get into nail art! Today the  "26 Great Nail art Ideas Challenge" prompt us to create a design with "rainbows done with a technique starting with letter S" So Here I am showing you my nails done with "Stabilobossing stamping", LOL I just made that up. But if you want to find out what this is about, please, keep reading!

Makeup │KIKO Milano mini Haul [Review & Look of the day]

Jun 8, 2017

I quite like KIKO Milano as a brand because their prices are affordable and many of their products are of a fairly good quality. I have already shared with you some other products I bought from this brand here, but those were mostly from their permanent range. However, it seems that many brands don't put the same effort into producing their limited edition products. Seriously, some would just focus on the packaging and the marketing images while the actual products are just dudes.  So, I thought I would pick up some limited edition items to see how I liked them. Keep reading to find out what I think about these products I've picked!!

BH Cosmetics San Francisco Palette

Jan 20, 2014

I do no hate winter. I just wish it was shorter. Around mid January I start longing for Spring, though this winter has been gentle in Swizerland so far, but I need sunnier and longer days. So today I have a BH Cosmetics palette to show you that to my eye is the perfect spring palette!

BH Cosmetics Hollywood Palette

Jan 7, 2014

Hello my lovelies! How are you?
This review is several months overdue! It's about a very pretty palette I got last year at the beginning of Fall from a brand that was new to me called BH Cosmetics. I had been hearing and reading lots of good reviews about this brand, they're so freaking affordable with unusual bold colours and outstanding pigmentation. I went many times to their site to see the famous "120 colours palette" and honestly that was not for me. But one day I received this awesome news about three very compact palettes with eyeshades and blushes, all 3 for less than 15 USD and I jumped headfirst into it!

Catrice Arts Collection LE Baroque Eye & face palette - Swatches & review

Oct 17, 2013

Hello my lovelies! How are you today? I'm very excited because I've been waiting impatiently for this new Catrice Limited edition to be available since I first saw the promo pictures. Catrice The Arts collection is inspired by three different artistic movements: Art Nouveau, Baroque and Art deco, all very rich in colour and details. The Collection consists on three eyes and face palettes and three coordinated nail polishes. You can see all the items of the collection collection here.
Unlike last year, when I picked the 3 palettes of Big city life collection, this year I couldn't justify owning more bronze and gunmetal eyeshades, or yet another gold nail polish. So the Art Déco palette and polish were out of the question. I'm still hhesitant whether I should pick the Art Nouveau set, or maybe just the polish. Finally, I only bought one the Baroque palette and nail polish which I'll be showing you today.

Essence Fantasia Limited Edition: Highlighter Powder

Dec 11, 2012

Hello my dears! How are you doing! Here it's been hectic washing, listing and packing here, since in two days we're off to Argentina!! I've been working hard for the blog, and for my wonderful readers and pal bloggers! I've scheduled a lot, A LOT, of posts. So, being on holiday three weeks and I had snap pictures of swatches and manicures enough until we are back! Phew! But now is done and I only have to write my posts the day in question, but the main info about the products is there. I thought it was not fair to leave the challenge like that, so I've done the next 4 manis in advance. Also, it was a pitty to miss the opportunity to show you some wonderful things for this winter when I come back everything will be about spring (or almost). Like for instance, did you know Essence has a new Limited Edition? It's called Fantasia, and it's wintery themed. For more details click here.

Fall Favourites: Chanel Lumières d'Artifices Beiges Illuminating Powder with Shimmer

Nov 10, 2012
Hello everyone! How is your Saturday so far? We are now working hard on the weekend for packing in order to move house, and we discovered how many useless things we have. It's so crazy.
Anyways, today I want to share with you one of my favourites of this fall: Chanel's Lumières d'Artifices Beiges. You've probably seen this a lot, but I have to tell you I absolutely adore this. It's the most subtle highlighter I have, but it is the one I prefer for a perfect finish to my skin. This is the kind of makeup that will make you glow without noticing you have makeup. So if you're on the mood for a shimmer-packed look (I am sometimes) this is not the right stuff.

I've intended to show you this a while ago, but I haven't got the opportunity yet to do proper swatches. The sun is slippery, by the time I get the camera and everything set, it's already gone. I hate to be running after the sun. It is really a pity. I know everyone is already raving Chanel's Holiday Collection, but as I'm probably not getting anything of it  (ok, maybe the polish) I decided  to show you this now, before it is definitely gone.

I know "Beige" it's not quite appealing for a name, but it is totally misleading!  This Highlighter is gorgeousness, so if you have the chance try it.

It is a little pricey, but I suspect this will last very long, since it has 18g of product (for instance, a Too Faced bronzer has 9g so this is double). I'm trying to reserve this for special makeup looks, but this is so suitable for everyday wear. I'm so happy my husband got it for me!!

Do you wear highlighters on everyday basis? Which are your favourites?
Love,
Nati

Essence The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn - Lipgloss, Lipstick & Shimmer Powder

Nov 7, 2012

Hello dears, how are you doing today? Happy or sad with the latest news?
I want to apologize to my dear friends and readers, because I haven't answered to their nice comments, and haven't been reading a lot of blogs either. It's been two days I'm feeling unwell, I must have caught the flew or something and  now is my baby who has it and he has a temperature too. So I'll post what I've scheduled in the past and will catch up with all my  reading list when we're all feeling a little better!
Well, I still have these Essence goodies from The twilight Saga Breaking Dawn collection that I haven't showed you. This LE will be available until the end of November, so if you're lucky you might still find them.
Back in October I showed you all of my picks here. Today I have for you the Shimmer Powder, the two lipglosses and the lipstick.
