Ingredients
Water, dipropylene glycol,/capric triglyceride, glycerin, methylpropanediol, sorbitan stearate, butylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, hydrolyzed collagen (2,500 PPM) sortibtan sequoleate, arginine, acrylates/C-10-30 alkyl acrylate, crosspolymer, hydroxycellulose, sucrose cocoate, coptis japonia root extract, zingeer officiale (ginger) root extract, camella sness leaf extract, glycyrrhza glbra (licorice) root extract, adenosine, dehydroactic acid, dipottasium glycylrrhzate, disodium EDTA, boswellia serrata gum, sodium hyaluronate, hydrogenated lecithin, phytosteryl/octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, geranium maculatum oil, citrus paradisi (grapefruit) peel oil, ceramide NP, centella asiatica extract, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, citrus limon (lemon) fruit extract
Nothing calls my attention on the list, I don't spot any particular irritant ingredient On the contrary, many of the "good" ingredients, the main being hydrolysed collagen, which will greatly contribute to improving moisturizing, and plump up your skin to diminish wrinkles and give more firmness. There is also Licorice root and Ginger toot extracts, which are known for giving firmness to the skin, as well as Centella Asiatica extract and rosemary leaf oil.
Personal Experience
The essence or serum is quite dense, more than other masks I could try, and has a milky colour. As I got the mask out of the package, I had a bit of a hard time unfolding it, as the mask is very thin and the serum it soaked in made it very soft and sticky. But I eventually succeeded to unfold it and apply it on my face. My first reaction was "this is freezing cold!" exactly. Not cool, or fresh, actually uncomfortably COLD! wow, that was very impressive considering it was quite a warm day. I think the cold feeling helps the skin tighten temporarily, as well. I left the masl on for 20 minutes.
I removed the mask and lightly massage the remaining product onto my skin, which sank in completely 5 minutes later. I applied it during my lunch break because I was planning to do my makeup and go out that evening and my skin was needing a little help.
This mask did not tighten my skin, but it definitely helped a lot improving my skin texture. My face appeared super moisturized, and the skin looked smoother, a little plumped up, definitely much better that it was. The day I applied the mask, that evening I did my regular skincare routine and went to sleep. The following day I woke up to the most radiant looking skin I've had in a long time. So for next time I'll use this time, I will definitely apply it before bed, because this works its magic best during nighttime, that is when cellular regeneration takes place.
As I often say, remember that skincare is not magical and it needs a regular application to offer the maximum effect. This mask is very affordable and I will definitely buy a few more and apply them regularly.
The Etude House Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask Collagen is available at BoOonBox online store and retails for 2.70 CHF (around 2.90 USD)
