Happy Friday sweeties! Any nice plans for the weekend?
We arrive at the 36th appointment of the 40 Great nail art ideas challenge, and today's prompt is "mint", such a lovely shade for summer!

As I told you the past week, I am no longer as enthusiast about this challenge as I was at the beginning. It is not so much about the nail art, which I am always happy to do, but about the group that is doing the challenge. We went down from 50+ participants to about 20 in the last few weeks. I understand it is very hard to keep up with a challenge for one whole year, so you can't blame people for losing interest and quit. Even the organiser excuse herself and stopped taking part.

Well, that's how things are. Let's get to the topic, shall we? For this challenge, I ought to combine Mint polish with my personal technique prompt which was "nude base". I wanted to keep things looking simple, but I didn't want to do stamping nail art again. So I opted for a half moon & french tip.

I first painted my nails using Cuccio Colour Oh Naturalé (such a perfect neutral shade!) and once it was completely dry I painted half moon and French tips on all my nails using vinyl guides and the queen of all mint polishes: Essie Mint Candy apple.

I am really fond of the colour combo! I wasn't expecting much, but I think the result id so edgy and modern (quite unlike me, lol!) Don't you think? Have you alredy tried to put these two shades together? How do you like this combo?

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love,
Nati
