Hello, my lovelies! How is your Weekend so far?
We've got everything ready for our Easter celebration tomorrow, we are going to spend it at home with family and FOOD! Of course, I plan to cook all morning, and I love it!
As we are on the very last day of March, I thought it was a good moment to share my opinion on the products I've used up recently. There aren't many, but these are definitely great ones. I hope you find this one useful.

My "Empties" post series is consistent with my resolution of committing to consuming more responsibly. Use up the products that I bought before buying new ones, as well as evaluating what I'm using by reviewing it and deciding whether to repurchase or not. By the way, helping you decide on your own purchase.

Dermacol  Aroma Ritual Vitalising Body Lotion "Mandarine Sorbet"

This fragrant body lotion was kindly sent to me by Parfumcity.ch as part of a Christmas present last year. I  had the occasion to discover Dermacol brand through a collab with parfumcity.ch last year, by testing a few facial masks and i was very satisfied. Dermacol is a Czech beauty brand with a very vast range, with face, makeup and body products.
This body lotion is a very affordable one (5.50 CHF) I loved the fruity-citrus yet sweet scent, it has a lovely non-greasy texture, it sinks in quite quickly. But for my VERY DRY SKIN, especially during this past log, long winter, the moisturizing power wasn't enough. I'm sure for normal skin would be great though!
The formula, as for most affordable products, contains parabens. I don't use many parabens in my other products, so I had no problem using this. For my dry skin I definitely need something richer, but I can't say it is a bad product, and the smell is divine!

L'Erboristica di Athena Shower Mousse SweetAlmond Oil

I fell in love with this affordable brand in Italy. Despite being so affordable (I paid less than 4€ this shower gel) it is very nice ingredient wise and environment-friendly. This is shower cleanser is presented as "Mousse" but it is a liquidy gel for me. It cleanses the skin gently, without drying it out, leaving the skin feeling soft and delicately scented. It does not contain silicones, parabens, dyes, preservatives or petrol derivatives. It is also cruelty-free and produced within a program with low CO2 emissions. It contains aloe vera, sea salt, sweet almond oil, rice protein, lactic acid and castor oil. It also contains fragrance as the very last ingredient in the list.
The scent is lovely, delicate, sweet, a bit powdery. I really like how my skin feels to the touch when I leave the shower. This is a total win in my book and I will be repurchasing it in my next trip to Italy. (I have only spotted this brand once on a privat sales site, but it is not easily available in Switzerland!, MAybe in your country it is!! If you spot this brand, please, try it! It's a pure delight!)

Biolis Nature - Green Selection- Magnolia Shampoo and Argan Conditioner

I got these products long ago in one of my trips to Italy. I had no idea of the brand, or the products, so it was kind of an experiment for me. What a HUGE surprise, these products are excellent!
Their label is SO impressive, especially because they are quite affordable! I got both shampoo and conditioner for around 8€, a total steal!
The whole line is formulated with great care: It does not contain silicones, parabens, dyes, preservatives, silicones, phthalates, animal derivatives or petrol derivatives. It is also Vegan and produced within a program with low CO2 emissions. This is without a doubt the CLEANEST formula I've ever used in products for my hair.

I must say, the difference SHOWS! The Magnolia shampoo cleanses the hair gently, but I do need to apply twice in each wash, what makes me use it up very quickly. The thing is During winter I've been applying coconut oil based product to my ends that were very dry. And this shampoo was not cleaning that in one application. However, when using this shampoo my hair looked and felt clean for about 4-5 days. I've never experienced that with any other shampoo. Really. I am sure the clean formula is the reason, as there aren't nasty products disturbing the scalp or the fibers.
The Argan conditioner is a little gem. A very little amount detangles my hair, it doesn't leave any residu or strange feeling behind, it doesn't weigh down my hair or anything. My hair looks shiny, feels silky to the touch and stays clean for much longer than with any other product I've tried.
The only downside is that this range is only available in Italy! I couldn't find it anywhere else! Next time I go to Italy, you know what I'll be filling my suitcases with. I'll say it: these are Holy Grail for my hair.

Estée Lauder Sensuous Eau de Parfum.

Last but not least, I've used up a perfume!! wiii!
This is a rare event. I love perfumes, I have currently 11 open bottles. I am a "forgetful" perfume user. Yes. I'm ready and step out the door, generally, I remember that I haven't put on perfume when I'm already in the elevator! LOL! So, number one lesson: you can't finish products you forget to use. When I have more time to get ready I do use perfume, but I stick to certain fragrances for a season or occasion or time of the day, lol. Sensuous is for me a perfume so intense and rich, sexy, a bit spicy, a bit wooden, a bit powdery, perfect for romantic sensual rendez-vous, and especially for winter. I wouldn't use it in summer, and I would definitely not wear this in the morning to take my children to school. The past 6 month-long winter was the perfect excuse to finally use it up. I absolutely love this perfume and I will definitely repurchase it.
