Hello, my lovelies!
How are you today? I hope you had a great week so far and that you are safe and healthy. Today I decided to join my colleagues of the "When Colours Collide" challenge. This week's prompt is "Black, red and orange" and I used some OPI and MoYou London colours for this nail art. I hope you like it!
For this manicure, I used a black nail polish as a base a red and orange polishes and a "needle dragging technique)
The easy and quick instructions to recreate this manicure:
1) For this manicure you ought to proceed nail by nail. I started with my pinkie fingernail. I painted 2/3 of the nail with a thick coat of black, leaving the tip bare. TIP: be sure to use a black nail polish that would be opaque in only one coat!
2) Fast enough, avoiding the black polish starts to dry, I painted the tip with two stripes of colour: orange and red. Be generous applying the polish.
3) Using a needle or an extra-fine dotting tool, carefully drag the nail polish upwards, from the red towards the black. The density of the polish will drag the colours forming a flame effect. Be sure to work quickly, so that the nail polish does not dry. Clean your needle or point tool and repeat the dragging movement to form as many flames as you wish.
4) Do the same thing for all your nails.
5) Once you are done, allow the polish to set before applying fast drying topcoat. Remember we worked with a thick coat of nail polish so this might take several minutes. That's it!
- Essence The gel nail polish "Black is back".
- OPI Summer Lovin Having a blast (orange)
- OPI Viva OPI (red)
- Beautybigbang needle point tool.

Take care!
Love,
Nati
