Today I want to talk to you about 5 Drugstore Lipsticks that I've been obsessing about! Oh yes, I love me some fancy high-end makeup now and then, but in total honesty, so many drugstore brands carry really good lipsticks that have nothing to envy to the luxury ones. But yes, drugstore ranges are not always consistent, and some brands are a bit of hit and miss, so it takes a lot of try and error to find THE ONE. So, here I am doing the job for you! I introduce to you 5 really amazing options to have your lips on-point without breaking the bank! In today's "outfit" post, I'd like to talk about another trend that started last year and stays strong this year too: Pleated skirts! I hesitated to adopt this trend because pleated skirts are not the most flattering on my body shape. Until I saw this printed skirt in shades of blue and fell for it, especially for its flowy fabric. I thought it would be fresh and comfortable for the warm months ahead all while being quite chic, so I finally adopted it! Here is how I style my spring Pleated Skirt.

I hope you had a wonderful month of April and that you're starting the new month with plenty of energy! I'm happy that May is finally here because it is the month of my daughter's birthday, mother's day and pretty flowers! It is also a month ruled mainly by the Zodiac sign of Taurus, and as every month, I've used my  BH Cosmetics Zodiac LOVE SIGNS palette to create a look inspired by TAURUS colours. Last year I have used the first edition of the Zodiac palette all the year round creating different looks inspired in each Zodiac sign, and this year I count on doing the same thing with the second edition of this Palette!

We had the most incredible month of February, so many cool things happened, and the sun was bright, the sky clear blue, most days, it definitely felt like spring is coming! I hope March will also be awesome and I hope yours will be too!

Now that February is gon is time for a new edition of my "shopping my stash" challenge! This monthly challenge that I started back in 2017 still goes strong! So, all my "low buy", "no buy" and "shop your stash" beauty friends, you are of course invited to share your own experience! During the past month I've been using an old quad by Chanel "Variation", which is now discontinued, but the truth is I have barely used it until now, so it looks as good as new. I've been using an old quad by Dolce & Gabbana "Fall Harvest", which has a wonderful packaging but the shadows leave me a bit on the fence. I arrived yesterday to my parent's home in Argentina after 24 hours travel. I didn't have time to share on Social media because I was too busy living the moment. I haven't been to my home country in two years and the reunion with my parents, my brother and nephews and my sister in law was full of emotion and we had so much to talk about!!

We have a lot of plans for this weekend and for the upcoming holidays, but I also have a lot of content to share with you, I just don't know when I will find the time haha! Given the fact that we have also 4 hours difference. My plan for the blog schedule for the next three weeks, is to post on Mondays and Fridays evenings, maybe once more on Wednesday if I have the time. Let's see if I will make it ;)

Today the  "Nail Stamping Sisterhood" Facebook Group proposed us to make a manicure with "Ugly Sweater" theme, which is a very popular theme in this season, especially in the northern hemisphere! LOL Dusing my childhood and youth I lived in Argentina where is a very torrid summer during Christmas and New Years' festivities. Those festivities never included "ugly sweaters" or any other sweater, so this is something I learned when I moved to Switzerland 15 years ago. What about you? Is it cold or warm during Holiday Season where you live?

Friday night hubby and I went to the theatre to see a very original play based on a comic novella by Georges Perec, written in 1966: "Which Moped with Chrome-plated Handlebars at the Back of the Yard?". We had a good time! It was hilarious and enriching, a neat little masterpiece of word-play, so sparkling of humour and nonsense, mixing the everyday life of the Paris of the day and the literary legacy of the moment. Something totally unprecedentedthat leaves no trace, no moral, written for the pleasure of writing. I am reading the novel now and if you know French I suggest you read the original as well.

Now, it's time for a new manicure! The "Nail Crazies Unite" nail art Challenge prompted us to create "Foliage" themed manicures, so I created this design using red and gold hues. I hope you like it!

This gorgeous collection inspired by the new Disney film "The Nutcracker and the four Realms" (an adaptation of the famous ballet) which will be realeasing world wide tomorrow! I'm a little late sharing my manicure this week, as I usually post early on Friday or Saturday, but I decided to take it easy this weekend. What was right on time was my menstrual cramps and I am feeling a little tired, hence my delay posting. I didn't want to miss this appointment for the "Nail Crazies Unite" nail art Challenge because this week's theme is Superheroes/Villains nails!! I SO SO WANTED TO DO A WONDER WOMAN NAIL ART!!
In reality I had something more intricated in mind that involved freehand painting, but given the fact that I was feeling under the weather, I did a simpler version. This is how my nails turned out!
