The months are starting to pass really quickly, I can't believe is already time for an "Empties" post again!
I have a huge amount of empty products this time, so I was hesitating about doing a video! Many of you opted for an Empties video on Instagram Stories to my question, so next month I'll be doig a video instead of a blogpost ;) I still have to fine tune the filming part (read: I need a camera other than my phone!! LOL) but those are just "details" aren't they?
It was impossible to fit all my empty products, which keep cumulating in one post, so I divided them into categories, and this month I'm sharing with you the skincare products that I've used up!

Another month has begun and, as I usually do, I have emptied a few tubes and bottles and It's time to give you my feedback on those!
Just for clarification, because I got a few confusing comments and questions, my "Empties" article, is meant to share with you my feedback on products that I have either purchase myself (for the majority of them) or received as press samples and that I've used up completely. Many of the products I've received for free already have a full review on their own, but I featured them again for the simple reason that I believe they deserve it! Using a product fully can give a better idea of the performance and efficacity of a product (especially for those antiageing ones). In the seldom occasion, using up a product has made me change my mind about it!! I have ended up hating products that I initially loved, because they had some undesired effect or because I simply got tired of it, sick of their smell, etc. Sometimes, I ended up loving products that I initially hated because I found a way to use it better, or more adapted to me or simply because the product changed after a few uses! (mascaras that are too liquidy are a good example!)
I prefer reading reviews of "empty" tubes, rather than monthly favourites where influencers just gather all the press samples they got that month and you can tell some of the packagings are untouched, so you wonder "how can she have three different favourite foundations in a month?". Well, things that happen I suppose. This has been too chatty already, so I suggest that we take a look at the products I've recently finished up, shall we?

I'm very happy today because hubby came back from long 10 day-business trip and the children and I missed him a lot. I'm happy the weekend is almost here and we can enjoy some lovely time together.

Aujourd'hui je vais vous parler d'une nouvelle crème pour les contours des yeux de la luxueuse marque Suisse des soins La Colline. Cette nouvelle formulation appelée "Soin Cellulaire Redéfinition Contour des Yeux"* promets combattre le relâchement des paupières qui arrive avec l'âge. Cela arrive à tout le monde en plus grand ou plus petite mesure, que la délicate peau des paupières perd la tonicité et commence à se rélacher. Certes, cela n'arrive pas à 30 ans, mais si seulement il y avait quelque chose à faire dès 30 pour éviter cela? La Colline a la réponse. Presque trop beau pour être vrai, n'est-ce pas? It happens to everyone in greater or smaller extent, that the delicate skin of the eyelids loses tone and begins to slack. Je suis super contente parce que j'ai des nouveaux produits à vous présenter. Oui, oui, encore des nouveautés!
Vous m'avez lu au moins mille fois dire que j'ai la peau sèche et qu'en hiver cela tourne directement à la catastrophe. Quand l'hiver approche, pour moi c'est définitivement question de sortir l'artillerie lourde. Chaque année, je fais un "traitement de transition" vers l'hiver et à chaque fois je teste de nouveautés... eh bien parce que je suis une bloggeuse beauté et que je suis très curieuse. Pour cette raison, lorsque Alexiane de Subleem m'a contacté me disant que j'avais été sélectionée pour tester deux nouveaux produits de la marque Rexaline contre la deshydratation, vous pouvez croire que j'ai sauté de joie (littéralement): ces produits semblaient être exactement ce dont ma peau a besoin. Je les ai testé pendent un mois et je vous donne aujourd'hui mon avis.

Hello, sweeties! It's been ages since I shared with you the products I've used up. I've cumulated a HUGE amount of empty bottles, but I have decided to leave out all the products that have already been featured in past editions of "the empties" posts and I split the rest into two groups. This time I'm going to talk about the skincare and makeup products and I will address the body and hair products in a future post.

Seriously, I feel young inside.
I'm eager to do new things all the time. Always thinking what's the latest? I don't feel at all 36, I feel more like 26. I believe the sparkle in my eyes shows my true age at heart. Unfortunately, my skin doesn't quite agree with my feelings. My skin does not follow my spirits, but she has this annoying tendency to obey to nature and gravity. I do not want to hide my age or pretend to be younger, I want my skin to show how my inner-self feels: young!
After all, I'm not 86, I'm 36, there are lots of things I can do for my skin. Treating my skin to fine cosmetics is definitely one very important thing to look my best. Yep, the end of Summer is approaching. I don't know about you, but I for one start stocking up sunscreens around May, and by the beginning of September I start thinking about my after-summer routine. The skin is exposed to so many aggressions during summer, especially if we spend lots of time outdoors that I like doing a special routine to give my skin a bit of a "recovery treatment" just after summer. Today I will show you what I have been testing for my after-summer pampering routine.
