Hello my lovelies! How is your Saturday so far?
What I'd like to share with you today is one of my favourites items this Fall, one I did expected to like as soon as I swatched it on my hand the first time I saw it at Manor's Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Khaki précieux.

This eyeliner came out with the Chanel Supertition collection for Fall 2013 but is part of the permanent range, so it's still available. It is everything you can expect from a waterproof eyeliner: very pigmented, has a neat soft application, can be smudged for softer looks but when it sets... well get some oil based remover or you are not going to get rid of it!
What really stands out about this product is the colour, a gorgeous antique gold that is not too olive-y nor too golden, I love these kind of shades!
Back in 2010, I got Chanel le Crayon yeux 68 Khaki doré, which I used everyday for work for about 6 months, and I wouldn't wear any other eye makeup except mascara. I used up the whole crayon and bought it again. So what are the good news for me??

Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof 104 Khaki précieux is exactly the same shade le Crayon yeux 68 Khaki doré, but more pigmented and with a waterproof formulation! I can't begin to tell you how I love that. Day looks, but also more sophisticated evening looks can be achieved with Khaki précieux, and I would totally recommend it to all the beauties who think black is too harsh, or simply when you're not on the mood for black and brown sounds kind of meh.
Have you tried any similar eyeliner shade? Is there any shade (besides black) that you really love on your eyes? Don't be shy, leave me your comment :)

oh, what a lovely colors. it calls my name loud!
ReplyDeletei usually use black, but also brown, violet and green look nice.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't wear much eye make up, just eye liner/pencil and mascara. I have several eye liners like this, just different colours. I'm not fond of goldish shades myself. I've got some greens, lilac, purple, turquoise, rose pink, silver and the more usual colours like black and brown.
ReplyDeleteI used to always stick to just black, but recently I have been experimenting with color and lo and behold, I love it! I don't have a shade like this one yet though.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very good on you! .-) Besides black and grey, I love using dark purple and blue, but with blue I often "argue", because or it comes out really messy or it comes out fantastic! :-)
ReplyDeleteSalut ma belle, oh you look so beautiful!!! I have bought the grey pencil of this line but unfortunately I usually nearly poke out my eye to get decent color pay-off and it still looks very understated. Now seeing this, I will have to check it out next time I pass by Globus ;-)!!! Thank you for showing us this beauty!!! I hope you had a lovely Sunday despite the horrid weather - Bisous xxx
