It's been a while since my last post, exactly twelve days, which is pretty long after writing almost daily for the past 7 months. I was really needing a break from blogging and this time was totally unplanned and unexpected but it surely did me good. We all got ill after Halloween and I fell behind with a bunch of stuff I was supposed to do and I didn't feel I had enough energy to do everything and the blog.
But you know I can't be long far from this blog and from you! Today I'm trying to catch up with yesterday's nail art prompt for the "26 Great nail Art Ideas" Challenge. Keep reading after the jump!
This week's prompt was "black base" and I thought to do a galaxy nail art. Flipping some pictures for inspiration I came accross some photos of nebulas, which are awesome natural clouds of gas and dust in the outer space. I did my best to try and recreate it on my nails.
For this I used a black base, of course, Zoya Storm, which is the most awesome scattered holo glitter on black polish. On top of it I sponged light blue, light pink and white colours (I used Zoya Rayne, Zoya Gie Gie, Zoya Imogen, White from Esmaltes Sandoz). Once I was happy with the colour combination I added a couple of stars -basically painted a couple of crosses) and I added a couple of tiny sequins here and there. That was it! It wasn't really difficult or messy at all. I would say the most difficult was to choose the colours to give the desired effect.
I hope you have liked my manicure! If you are fond of black nail polish, don't hesitate to pay a visit to all the talented ladies that are taking part in this challenge (listed below).
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! Today is date night for me after 19 months, we'll finally get the chance to spend one evening together ALONE, I'm super excited about it and I will show you my makeup and nails for tonight very soon.
Love,
Nati
