Happy Friday sweeties! How are you today?
If you are also sad because it is almost the weekend and it is almost summer and the weather doesn't seem to have noticed (please Mr. Weather, can you please acknowledge we are actually in SUMMER here? thank you), the participants of the 40 Great nail Art ideas Challenge are here to cheer you up with lots of manicures inspired by summer!

I did not hesitate much before doing this manicure. Ever since I got the MoYou stamping plate Tropical collection #05 I've been wanting to do a nail design with the cute Toucans, and this seemed the perfect occasion! I thought it would be very summer like to do my manicure with 4 colours from The OPI New Orleans collection for Spring/Summer 2016.

I simply combined two techniques to decorate my nails: gradient sponging and stamping. I started painting two coats of OPI Crawfishin' for a compliment and let it dry very well. Then I sponged a gradient using Got Myself into a Jam-balayaShe is a Bad Muffuletta and  I Manicure for Beads. Once the gradient looked as I wanted, I appplied a fast drying topcoat and stamped the toucans design with balck polish. Finally, I seal everything with topcoat.

What do you think of this manicure? yay or nay? Any nice plans for the weekend? Don't forget my Zoya Giveaway is still open, you can enter and read all about it here.

Also, please, pay a visit to my challenge pals, to see how their manis were inspired by Summer!

Love,
Nati
