Hello, lovelies! Happy Friday!
Today I want to talk you about my latest makeup purchase, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism palette. I haven't bought a lot of makeup this year, in fact, I have stopped collecting and started using my own collection a lot more. This year I put the focus on "creating" more than "collecting" makeup. I've realized Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes have all I need to boost my creativity and the Prism palette is no exception! Keep reading to find out my thoughts on this palette and the winter look I created with it!

My thoughts on the palette

I have already presented to you the other two palettes I own from Anastasia Beverly Hills, which are "Subculture" (read my review here) and "Modern Renaissance" (read my review here). I would say that Prism is the touch of glam that was missing to my Anastasia Beverly Hills collection.

Prism palette is very similar to the other two palettes in terms of quality and pigmentation. All the shades are very pigmented and easy to work with, they blend easily and have an excellent payoff on the skin. The shimmery and metallic shades are super intense and glamourous.

If you already own Subculture or Modern Renaissance palette, do you need "Prism" palette too? Let me tell you why I also bought Prism.

The shadows in this palette are ALL of an exceptional quality. It is the best quality in my personal collection (as of yet) together with the other two I own from the same brand. The palette is extremely consistent, there are no dudes, all the colours are excellent. Super pigmented, buttery soft, they blend easily in my experience and they don't stain the skin. I haven't experienced fall out, as I did with the Subculture palette.

The colour composition in the palette is simply superb. The palette has 6 beautiful metallic/prismatic colours that make of this palette an excellent choice for creating stylish and glamorous looks, therefore an perfect candidate for Holidays looks.

In summary, if you like to be creative with your eye looks, glamourous when possible, using a product of outstanding quality: you will enjoy this palette loads!

My looks using Prism

For today I came up with a look inspired by fall, but the lighting for my pictures was pretty terrible, and it doesn't do full justice to the colours I used.

For this look I used

Face/ Visage:
Givenchy Croisière Healthy Glow Powder #2Douce Croisière
- Wet N Wild ColorIcon blush in Apri-cot in the Middle

Eyes/Yeux:
- Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion
- Neve Cosmetics InkMe eyeliner in "Bastet"

Lips/Lèvres:
- BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Muse
- L'oréal Color Rich Pure Gold Obsession

How to

For this look, I used Lure as a transition in the crease and Parallel in the outer corner of the eyes toward the crease. All over the mobile eyelid, I applied Throne a beautiful metallic dark green and topped it with Pyramid just in the centre.
In my lower lashline I used a black liner and a Milani golden bronze pencil in my inner corner.

I drew a very thine liner line on my upper lashline using a vegan liquid liner and lots of mascara. On the face I applied a blush by Wet and wild and a bronzer by Givenchy. On the lips I used a matte liquid lipstick by BH Cosmetics, toped with a gold lipstick by L'oréal.

I'm getting less and less moments of good lighting at home for my photoshoots, since the days have got shorter and the weather's been gloomy, but I think, despite of the poor lighting, you can see how pretty the shades gleam and glow on the skin!

Unfortunately, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism palette is not available in Switzerland yet, but it can be purchased from different International retailers: It currently is available at Beauty Bay !!

What do you think of this look? Have you heard of this palette before? Let me know in the comments!

Love,
Nati
