Hello my lovelies! How are you doing today?
Last weekend I had some more fun with my new Dior eyeshadow palette and came up with a light blue look. It's quite bold, but as it was sunny I kind of felt some extra colour was ok.
For this look I used:
-
NYX Above & beyond full coverage concealer in 04Beige
-
Urban decay eyeshadow primer potion
-NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
-
Dior 5 Couleurs palette in 374 Blue Lagoon
-
Essence eye pencil in 01 Fragile but feisty
-
Essence Long lasting eye pencil in #17 tu-tu-tourquoise
-
Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara #40 Emeraude
-
Sigma brushes E55- E60 (Eye shading), E30 (Pencil brush), E40 (Tapered
blending)
For making the shades more evident (the light green is quite sheer) I first applied a white base to my eyelids using the NYX jumbo eye pencil, and then I applied the eyeshadows.
I hope you enjoy my nonsense as much as I do! Do you also wear light blue or turquoise on the eyes? Would you find it too much after these several years of "Nude" looks going strong?
I'd love to hear your opinions.
Love,
Love,
Nati

ReplyDeleteCon ese look No pasas desapercibida :D
DeleteJaja! Ya lo creo que no!
DeleteI think it was a cool look, since it's pastel it's not that "load" as if it had darker colors. I think it's fun playing with makeup, it's a fun way of creating new looks. :)
ReplyDeleteI had much fun doing it, because I wanted to go a little over the top, just to see what it looks like. Well, it seems like too much, but I like it anyway :P
DeleteThis look is so beautiful; I really like it. I love bright eyeshadows and I think you did a great job. I love the upper lid liner, it really sets the look off! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Ithi, you're always so sweet. I still have to practice my technique on applying eyeshadow over a creamy base, because I followed a tutorial, but I do not think this suits my eye shape completely...
DeleteThe liner is one of my favourites, I'll do a review about it, it costed me USD 1,75 can you believe that??! xx
Ciao cara! This looks great on you! It really brought out your eye color! Baci! xx
ReplyDeleteCiao bella! thank you for your nice comment. bacioni, xx
DeleteWhat a vibrant look, perfect for spring :-) I really like Dior's Birds of Paradise collection. I think it's one of their best.
ReplyDeleteP.S.: You can win the newest Covergirl mascara on my blog, come check it out! :-D
Yep, a little too vibrant, maybe? I was so confused, because I love this collection and yet I continue to read negative reviews about it!
DeleteBTW I entered your giveaway, fingers crossed!
This looks absolutely cool and it looks so good on you! Unfortunately I don't have enough courage to wear it! I love to wear grey on my eyes, so I have many shades of grey... :-)
ReplyDeleteGrey shades are so sexy! specially grey smokey eyes. My favourite grey is a gorgeous shade of steel grey by Essence, but is unfortunately been discontinued :(
