Today I have some Born pretty store Neon round studs I've received from them for my honest review. I tell you, lately I have the "neon fever". Neon was very 80's in my mind. When I was 8, I had so many neon things and later during teenage years I thought it was childish and totally out. But now neon is back and I'm old enough to be childish again, LOL!! This summer I made several neon designs on my nails I got 4 neon nail colours, a neon tank top, some neon hair bangs and stuff. I also got some little neon t-shirts for my baby, he looks adorable! So how could I resist to try neon Studs! I've chosen the neon pink ones.
These studs are very small, only 2mm of diameter, which means they're versatile, you can place them in many ways, and create many nail art designs! The small size has also the advantage that the studs hold better to the nail polish without the need of glue. They come in a package that contains 200 pcs.
I applied them directly over the wet polish, I used China glaze Running in circles. As they have a typical neon semi-matte surface I decided not to wear a topcoat to seal the manicure, to preserve that finish. They held just fine for almost 2 days, but then I started loosing some of them. If you want them to last longer, I'd definitely recommend using a topcoat to seal them.
The Neon studs retail currently for 2.99 USD at BornPretty Store and there are 11 different colours to choose form. Remember you can have 10% off of your purchase (everything in the store) by entering my code at checkout: DBL91
