Happy Saturday my lovelies! How is your weekend so far? It's raining here, and it'll rain tomorrow and the day after as well. But that does not prevent us from having a great family time and fun!
I have another "studed" manicure for you, this time is about silver hexagon studs I received from Born pretty store for my honest review.
These are 3mm diameter hexagon shaped studs and in my opinion the best quality among all the studs decoration I have tested so far. They look very sturdy, and have a plastic at the back, unlike any other studs I've tried, which make them hold to the nail polish much better, easier to use with nail glue, and also very easy to clean if you intend to re-use them. They come in a package containing aprox. 150 pieces.
For this manicure I've painted two coats of a nameless pink polish from Claire's and placed the studs while the polish was still wet. Didn't use any glue or topcoat, and these really held to the nail polish once it dried, and I took them off after three days without having lost one single stud. I took them of with regular acetone free polish remover, and cleaned them, now the look as new and I plan to reuse them! I'm loving the hexagon shape that allows to create several geometric and graphic patterns.
The silver hexagon studs retail for 4.99 USD at Born pretty store and come also in gold. Remember you can have 10% off of your purchase (everything in the store) by entering my code at checkout: DBL91
I hope you've liked this review. Don't hesitate to leave your feedback in the comments, it's always much appreciated!

Another super nice mani, Nati! I love how you fully studded one of the nails, it's a great detail.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your sweet comment Melissa! :)
DeleteWow, this was awesome, (I LOVE studs!!!) I really loved your way of placing them! Also, the same as you said, I really liked that they're hex shaped, I can only imagine all the cool nail art that probably could be done with this!
ReplyDeleteHi Gelic, I did nothing special really, but still looks pretty cool. I love studs too and these are my fave. :)
Me encanta.
ReplyDeleteGracias Andrea, me alegro que te haya gustado :)
DeleteCiao Nati! These look great! I can image these on top of a silver polish to get a sort of shield look! Could be quite cool perhaps :) Have a great week-end, despite of the rain :) Baci! xx
ReplyDeleteCiao Jezzica, I guess that would be a great combo!
DeleteBacioni, xx :)
Great manicure! I love nail art studs and lately I got some and I bought some of them (round, square and triangle nail art studs) and I'm very happy with them! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Tatjana! I really need to try square studs, they seem so versatile for nail art! :)
DeleteThese look really pretty! Glad to hear they lasted 3 days too
ReplyDeleteHi Krystle, thank you for commenting! :)
DeleteSalut ma belle, gorgeous!!! I love studs and those look like total win - no like a must have for any serious nail polish collection. Adding studs is one of the easiest ways to amp up a plain mani and I also like to clean and re-use my studs, so hmmmmm seriously consider buying ;-) - enjoy the Sunday, I am happy that the weather is a tad overcast here as well, so I don't feel bad to relax and catch-up on what you lovely ladies have been up to all week - bisous xxx
ReplyDeleteSalut ma biche! Thank you for your comment, enjoy your Sunday!!
