Here I am again on a Thursday instead of a Friday, because tomorrow it's my eldest's birthday! Yes, my sweet boy is turning 8 and this mum can't even believe it yet! I'm currently in the making of his cake and thought to keep this post short and sweet so I can go back to the preparatives for his party tomorrow.

Today I have a new manicure to share with you! I've been playing with the new OPI Mexico City Collection for Spring Summer 2020 and I came up with a couple of new nail arts! Today I show you my manicure with Cherry blossoms, I hope you like it!

Hello, my lovelies! Happy Thursday!

I'm posting on a Thursday rather than a Friday, because tomorrow as it is Valentine's Day and the hubby and I have plans of spending the afternoon, evening and night in a romantic escapade! We are not going far, in fact just a few kilometres from home, but enough to forget the daily routine and have some time for our couple. I'm so excited about it!!

Are you planning anything for Valentine's day? I know a lot of people don't care for this holiday in Europe, even us when we were younger we did not pay much attention to it. But after 22 years together (of which 16 years of marriage), you definitely need to seize every occasion to escape the routine, if you know what I mean!

I have no idea what I will wear tomorrow or what I'll pack in my bag, I'm not too worried about it, haha, but I definitely know what I will wear on my nails! LOL! Here it is my Valentine's manicure for 2020, and some other ideas from previous years in case you need some inspiration! I hope you like it!!

The summer school break is approaching and I'm super excited for our next Summer vacation (although that will happen at the end of July, I can't wait!!). Today, it is time to show you a new edition of my Zodiac Makeup Challenge! As every month, I've used my  BH Cosmetics Zodiac LOVE SIGNS palette to create a look inspired by a Zodiac sign and today it is the turn  of GEMINI colours. Last year I have used the first edition of the Zodiac palette all the year round creating different looks inspired in each Zodiac sign, and this year I count on doing the same thing with the second edition of this Palette!

Happy Monday, sweeties!
We are having a lovely Spring so far, typical rainy weather in the past few days, but nothing we wouldn't know about April already. We're expecting some sunny days towards the end of the week, and this is energizing me.
In total honesty, I'm glad we're having some rain, because this gives me a break with allergies, when the weather is wet, pollen does not fly around and I feel much much better! Does this happen to you too?
It's time for a makeup challenge! The Monday Shadow Challenge thought Green and pink would be a nice combination for spring and, in my opinion, they had that right! I love green and pink as they create a lovely soft, luminous and fresh look! take a look!

Today's fashion Post is focused on comfort and practicality (well actually most of my outfits are, lol). Far behind are the days when I used to sport cute kitten heels and fancy outfits for visiting a city! Yes, I've done it in my 20's, but now visiting with two kids and stying all day out, a comfortable (and durable) outfit is a must. This doesn't mean your clothes need to be boring or not feminine!!

I'm back! Last week I decided to take a break from blogging, I think I was having a "blogging burnout" :O !!!
I've been sleeping very little in the past few weeks, my average sleep was around 4:30 hours per night, including weekends of course. I started feeling terribly fatigued and decided to put the blog in pause and take more care of myself. In fact, I usually work late hours for the blog, when the children are already in bed, that's a time I'm not sleeping! I decided to tweak a couple of things in my routine. also, I wasn't feeling the urge of posting and sharing as I usually do, despite of having a lot of new products to test and stories to share... I took that as a sign and decided to slow down.
I spent a gorgeous sunny long weekend for Easter, with the family, my children are a great source of energy for me. I also spent a fair time working out and planning my meals in a healthier more nutritious way for me (I'm trying to lose some weight but without losing muscle and It's not as easy as it sounds!!). So, what has been keeping you busy lately?

Now, let's get into makeup!  It's time for a new Monday Shadow Challenge,"this week the challenge is a bit special because it's all about "PINK"! Yes, that's right! Two or more shades of pink combined in one same look. I thought this could be a good idea for a look a bit modern and also Kawai, I hope you will like my makeup :)

I'm currently in Rome for a Short Spring Break with my family, So far things aren't happening exactly as planned, my son caught some stomach bug and he's been sick all day. Hubby hit the pharmacy and got some medicine for our son's tummy, fingers crossed he'll be feeling better tomorrow! You see this trip was a present for our son, we actually came all the way here to see a football game tomorrow, we have tickets to the stadium to support my son's favourite team, so it will be really not cool if he couldn't attend! Please, keep your fingers crossed for him getting well soon!!

I was so impatient to write this post, as I have a new makeup palette and I'm super excited about it!  A couple of weeks ago I have received my Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera palette and couldn't wait to show it to you! It is a rare gem with very bold colour choice, definitely a very special palette but not for everyone! I've created a Sunset makeup look with it, and made it really bold, :) Keep reading to find out if this palette is a good choice for you!

Finally, I came around to put together another outfit post for you. It's been a challenge for sure! We actually don't have time to set aside for doing proper "photo shootings"(we, meaning hubby "photographer" and me). But, somehow my fresh optimism thought we could just slip a couple of snaps into our normal life. You know, it is actually much harder than I would have imagined!

We will give it a try in a few days and see if we can manage to bring all our stuff with us. Yes, last time, we went out to take pics, only to find the camera memory card was missing and the battery was dying, LOL. Yeah, we need some fine tuning in the "planning section", haha.

Today I have a weekend casual comfy outfit, perfect for the strange transition weather we are having now. The winter is about to end, it's sunny, but still chilly at times for spring outfits. I hope you'll like it :)

How has your week been? mine has been exhausting! Coming back to the routine after 3 weeks vacation has been so hard. Especially restarting my gym workout which has left me with sore muscles and aches for days. Other than that I've been procrastinating ironing the 6 loads of laundry I did on Monday, lol. So this evening I'd probably catch up with that while watching some TV, yay exciting plan for a Friday evening! LOL

Let's talk about nail art now! "When Colors Collide" nail art challenge this week prompted us to create manicures in "blue, pink and purple" and only these colours. As I'm already longing for Spring, I came up with a pretty soft design and I hope you like it!
