Hello, sweeties! Happy Sunday!
Today's fashion Post is focused on comfort and practicality (well actually most of my outfits are, lol). Far behind are the days when I used to sport cute kitten heels and fancy outfits for visiting a city! Yes, I've done it in my 20's, but now visiting with two kids and stying all day out, a comfortable (and durable) outfit is a must. This doesn't mean your clothes need to be boring or not feminine!!
Check out my ideas to make your visiting day comfortable and chic ;)
When I'm off for spring vacation, if I can pack only one jacket, my denim jacket will be it without hesitation. It is also easy to pack in a suitcase without suffering, which is not true for blazers or leather jackets which get wrinkly and awkward!
My Wardrobe tip for chic travelers:
Denim jackets are staples for spring! They can be casual or chic, durable and easy to travel with. They are excellent companions for city touring and they pair fantastically with coloured jeans and feminine blouses like the ones I'm wearing here. Besides you can find your perfect fit without having to spend a lot!
Wearing the right shoes can make all the difference when you're all day out city touring! Comfortable trainers or sneakers are the best, but some people don't find them chic enough. Have you tried choosing a golden or rose gold pair? They go with almost everything and they look much fancier than regular sneakers!!
Today's look is another casual-feminine one. As we were visiting the beautiful city of Rome I chose to wear a feminine blouse with polka dots rather than a simple T-shirt to pair with my pink jeans. I get it, pink jeans are not everyone's cup of tea! But any coloured jean of your preference would do the trick. Personally, I rather pairing coloured pants to my denim jacket in Spring, rather than white and black. Denim colour pants with jeans is not my favourite, although I know this has been a trend at times, but for me the total denim is kinda meh...
We had a lovely time in Rome, I was happy to have comfortable shoes and clothes that allowed me to feel comfortable during the whole time and enjoy my visit with the children without problems!
What about you? while visiting a city as a tourist, do you prioritize comfort or style?
Have a wonderful week,
Nati
