Today, I'd like to share with you an outfit idea that may seem very banal, but it is waaaaay out of my comfort zone: a total black outfit. Well, of course, it is not completely black because my accessories are grey! But for a dinner date with the hubby in Rome, I thought it would look quite elegant to dress all in black, without losing my comfy side of course ;) Let's take a closer look to it!

I've been repeating that I'm not one to follow trends blindly, but this is a trend that I adopted because it is so "me". Far behind are the days when I used to sport cute kitten heels and fancy outfits for visiting a city! Yes, I've done it in my 20's, but now visiting with two kids and stying all day out, a comfortable (and durable) outfit is a must. This doesn't mean your clothes need to be boring or not feminine!!

We are having such beautiful sunny weather! But during the Spring the weather is very unstable here in Switzerland. Rain can happen any minute, mornings are cold and the temperatures rise fast during the day. The best way to brave all those weather changes is having some versatile clothing in your wardrobe and layering them!!

When you have a long day ahead, the Trench Coat is a great ally! It is formal enough for a smart working outfit, but also suitable for a date, or a more casual look, even with jeans. Finally, I came around to put together another outfit post for you. It's been a challenge for sure! We actually don't have time to set aside for doing proper "photo shootings"(we, meaning hubby "photographer" and me). But, somehow my fresh optimism thought we could just slip a couple of snaps into our normal life. You know, it is actually much harder than I would have imagined!

We will give it a try in a few days and see if we can manage to bring all our stuff with us. Yes, last time, we went out to take pics, only to find the camera memory card was missing and the battery was dying, LOL. Yeah, we need some fine tuning in the "planning section", haha.

Today I have a weekend casual comfy outfit, perfect for the strange transition weather we are having now. The winter is about to end, it's sunny, but still chilly at times for spring outfits. I hope you'll like it :)
